They only problem I had so far on a technical level is the loud crackles sometimes.

Actually very surprised , no freezes so far , first time I never been shitted by a console elder scrolls, and my first love was oblivion on ps3. Pretty smooth , very few frame drops even when getting dogpiled by mobs

The only thing Oblivion did better was quests, namely Thieve's Guild and Dark Brotherhood, soundtrack and arguably magic. Skyrim had better exploration, better leveling, better NPCs, better main quest (although both are a far cry from Morrowind's) and didn't rape the lore, plus Skyrim's lore is way more interesting than Cyrodiil's.

Yeah I sure love seeing bandits decked out in full Daederic when I'm level 15 in Oblivion, leveling up in that game makes you progressively weaker.

PC is obviously the best platform to play in for mods and the absolute best quality and sound, but it runs well and it's nice to take a game with so much mindless wandering with you on the go so you can get all that tedium out of the way

for me is a little dark for the first time ive been using torches and candlelight. i like it tho it adfs to muh immersion.

It's alright. It's vanilla Skyrim which is only mediocre, but graphically it looks alright and playing it in bed is top comfy and playing it anywhere is kinda surreal. ~3 hr battery life

When I was still modding/playing muh rims I had over 300 mods and it was over a year ago, no way I can name them all. Check the S.T.E.P. guide, and then look for new mods on the nexus and get what you want.

Climates of tamriel, perkus maximus, combat evolved, monster mod, books of silence, dragon combat evolved, apocalypse spells, lootification, asis are core, unless something new came out.
Basically, just think of what you don't like about Skyrim, and you can be sure there's a mod about it.

Has only crashed once in around 30 hours of gametime. Only drops frames when there's a lot of magic going on at once, which is barely ever. Other than that, it's fantastic and the battery lasts between 3 and 4 hours.

I've had those too. They happen when it's raining and I'm jumping a lot though I've noticed they happen for no reason, It's like the audio gets stuck replaying the sound of me hitting the ground every few seconds.

Saving and reloading fixes it though.
