I too feel Silver deserves another chance he had some interesting abilities that got fucked over in a buggy and rushed game.

His gameplay style would need a complete overhaul, and he's probably at the very bottom of the list when it comes to characters Sega are willing to bring back as playable. He's kind of popular in Japan but that means nothing when Japan doesn't care for Sonic games.
