fuck off todd
As long as you have mods its ok for one playthrough. Still pretty shit though
Pirate it. If you value the gaming industry, do not give these passionless fucks a dime. Massive imbalances that could easily be fixed aren't fixed, the variety without mods is awful and at most its just a modders playground, not even a very good one at that.

Don't listen to the people who act like this is the worst game of all time. They are nostalgia fags who wish Morrowind was just remade forever despite the fact it's broken on basically every level. It's by far the most balanced and playable of the Elder Scrolls series.
>nigger has never even played redguard
why do you pretend to know anything you underaged fag?
Do you guys ever feel tired of doing this day after day?
Depends on if you have an intense nostalgia for previous Elder Scrolls games. If not, you'll probably enjoy it.
I'm the only one able to play 32 hours straight without vomiting?
Fucking soyboys
No
You can sink 100+ hours easily. Game is still fallout 3 but with swords.
Enjoy having a seizure soon.
I started on morrowind and while I enjoyed skyrim, it lost many of the qualities of what TES games had, Though oblivion started that by "consolizing" the series.
I haven't managed to get back into skyrim since playing it and completing it on release.
fuck off tamien
nah, fallout is skyrim with no distint land marks, all just grey and brown rubble
Am I pleb if I like Morrowind as much as I like Skyrim?
It's still one of my favorite games, and if I hadn't fucked up my game with a few bad mods I'd probably be playing it right now.
Fallout 3 is fucking horrendous. Don't insult Skyrim like that.
Gonna have a seizure of the nose, it's literally crushing it.
Its a game that has flaws, but if you're not an autismo then you'll love it.
If you’re Playing for exploration and discovery it’s great
If you’re playing for storylines and characters you’ll be disappointed
While the immediate quest lines around you aren't great the overarching lore of Skyrim itself is great.
What if I'm playing for sexual gratification?
Then you should be pleased.
Absolutely! Possibly the greatest RPG experience of our time, eclipsed only by other great works from Bethesda Softworks such as the critically-acclaimed Fallout 4. You should purchase copies for every member of your family so nobody feels left out of this deep, rich adventure in the frozen lands of Skyrim!
>playing for story
heh
You're an Elder Scrolls fan and not a pointlessly bitter twat. Congratulations!
It's a mindless sandbox. Go anywhere, do basically anything. If you like wandering and doing quests, you could possibly dump over 100 hours
>Buy Skyrim Special edition because it's cheap
>Want to buy mods to make the game challenging
>NONE OF THE FUCKING MODS WORK WITH SPECIAL EDITION
...What the fuck is this shit
You have strayed on the path of becoming a modder yourself, wanderer.
The script extender doesn't work for it.
only get the vr version, and only play a wizard. blasting two different dudes with both hands is pretty fun. and its something you legit can't do on any other platform
Is stealth archer still fun with VR?
Loads of the mods work with special edition, and many of those that don't are as simple as opening them in the SE creation kit, saving them, and running any meshes through a conversion tool.
It does, it's in alpha.
yeah, but aiming the bow takes getting used to because you gotta draw back the string n shit and actually aim with no retical. i believe theres a perk in the skill tree that gives you the ability to see your shot trajectory though
What about swordplay?
Clearly I'm fucking up somewhere, then. Every time I make a new game, the protagonist is clearly in the wrong position and all the humans are T-Posing...
Are you getting your mods from the special edition nexus? Have you sorted them with LOOT? Have you made a bashed patch with Wrye Bash?
works just fine, but its about as waggle as you might expect because its not like it can simulate weight. i went mage/archer to avoid it but its really not that bad. id say if you want to play melee then just use a standard controller and use the headset to look around
>Skyrim Special Edition launched recently and still costs 20€ for PC even at 50% sale
>Skyrim Switch just launched
>Skyrim VR just launched
You're not late to the party, the party is just getting started
Thanks, I'm still debating if I want to rebuy this for PS4 for VR or Switch for portability. I'm thinking of going with VR since like you said it's something you can't do on any other platform and as nice as portability is using magic in VR sounds fun.
So much Skyrimjob shilling this past week
Is TESIIIIII getting announced soon or something
bare in mind, while its never been formally announced, I'm all but certain there will be a pc version of this at some point. and that version will be fucking miles better
but if you do get the psvr version, be sure to switch the game to free movement and turn off the comfort blinders. unless you can't handle it without them
I wonder if instead of making TESVI Bethesda will just continue to rerelease Skyrim and hope no one notices.
