>break sap from exit
>immediately saps it again

>engineer breaks sap from exit
>gets telefraged

>tele exit taking damage/being sapped
>spam wrench on it until whoever is messing with the exit fucks off
>now have to go to the exit and move it because the entire point of it being there is now ruined since the enemy team knows it's there undefended
tedious as fuck honestly

>shoot spy with pistol
>he dies in one hit
whoa, these guys are weak

I always have and always will consider the infinite sapper shit inexcusable
Sure, hitbox issues aside spy isn't exactly the strongest class right now, but in a game so heavily focussed on dodging, strafing, etc, it's pretty fucking stupid that you can just sap a sentry and hickity-click around the engineer knowing you have absolutely not the slightest bit of pressure of taking him out before he removes your sapper

spy is fundamentally the most underpowered class in the game, I don't really mind the infinite sapper shit because he needs anything he can get

this made me laugh more than it should have

>can one-hit kill any class
>underpowered

...

>*in melee range
>*from the side or behind
>*if he has his knife out
>*if you don't face him
If you're going to complain about one hit kills then start complaining about sniper. Why they added a single long range class to a game where every other class is mid-short range I'll never know or forgive

Maybe, but it makes non-gunslinger engineer -
which is already an unappealing class to anyone who isn't in a coma - stupidly frustrating

I'd much prefer if the sapper was single-use with a recharge of, say, 10 seconds.
Make it AoE to balance that out, you'll even be able to disable cruddily hunched together engi nests by sapping their entry teleporter

*shoots 500 DPS of bugged particle flames at you*

mmph mmph

>leaving your tele undefended

*blocks your damage and crits then kills you by pocketed soldier*

You can't be right next to the thing all the time, and nests are for losers.

>not putting your exits in strange places to confuse the enemy but in practice end up causing your team mates to spawn in a disorganized, ineffective fashion
pleb

I'm seeing tons of topscoring vac'd pyros in casual servers. Literally just wm1 with that is basically 2 seconds of uber on demand.

Vacc can be annoying on pyros, but I still think soldier is one of the all around strongest for it. It's annoying as a vacc soldier pair to go up against a vacc pyro combo though, I see that a lot as a last ditch effort to really counter.

*approaches you with melee out*
>Let us wrestle, little man!
what do?

Melee dueling Heavies is pretty much a guaranteed death sentence, but I do it anyways

>Saps tele entrance
>Fix it
>Keep fixing it
>Entire team is dying and everyone is using my tele but for seemingly 5 minutes straight nobody bothers to kill this spy sitting outside spawn sapping my tele

fucking what

Ignit him and axe him some questions

>die
>teleporter gets sapped
>see team mates just stare at the sapped tele entrance at spawn, none of them switch to engineer or homewrecker pyro to remove the sapper

>watch a guy sap your shit
>ignore him and hit the sapper

*sentry gets sniped by a Direct Hit Soldier*
*crits you for 180 damage*
heh nothin personnel pardner

*shoots you*

Why do mvm players try to do advanced missions when they aren't even good enough to do normal missions?

...

Mann Up is easy as fuck.

>"Hey guys I've never played mvm before"
>We're on gear grinder

They either are looking to get carried or have no concept of difficulty levels and just clicked stuff to get the game to start.

post fempyro

Soldier has 200 hp and will most likely kill you with his DH. Retard.

I've never played the premium mode but I assume people there stick rigidly to formula and win easily. I'm just confused why 80% of regular mvm players seem to have no concept of the game mode whatsoever, such as scout not realizing they should pick up money and engineers waiting to be blown up. Surely the bulk of the playerbase can't just be people playing it for the first time.

Please stop making these threads.

what are you gonna do about it, queermo?

Point out the fact that this game is really old, and then tell you to move on. For the umpteenth time.

Underestimated.

what if I don't, gaylord?

I'd totally listen to you if you weren't a furry LARPing on a mongolian sweatshop forum.

...

I will be forced to laugh at you.

uhhh sweatie pyro is 100% balanced right now
if you can't deal with a class that shoots bugged particles farther when he runs forward and uses running forwards as his tactic, you need to git gud :)

what if you do, fruitcake?

air blast that fat shit into the air and juggle him until i run out of ammo

It'll be bad news for you.

You're gonna get banned again like last time avatarfag

Wrong.

That implies he'll be in melee range for that to happen.

Engie revolver when valve?

yeah, you have to be somewhat close for all the pellets to hit.
by the way what if we enforce fixed shotgun spread in casual servers. i think that would give a more consistent feel to shotguns

Lugermorph

>luger
>revolver

A luger is basically a revolver my texas terms

>leave base on CTF
>intelligence no longer being defended, instantly gets rushed by a scout/spy

>stick to defending base on CTF
>team never captures, no one makes any attempt to get the intel even if it's dropped in front of our base

I know this feel more than you can possibly imagine. Games end up stalemating because me and my friend have to be on defense nonstop and nobody gets anywhere close to the enemy intel.

>Entire team bitches at me when i get the intel because they just want to make this an endless deathmatch

naw fuck you

Or even better, the games where it feels like nobody on my team is playing at all so we don't get anywhere on offense and we have to deal with 5+ people trying to push into our base.
