2. I don't like most pokemon games, the only exceptions being Ruby, Stadium, Snap, and Colosseum
3. It looks like a boring kid's game

I would've if it was 40 bucks or something. I like the game well enough, but paying a full 60 bucks for 4 new characters and a stage is something only fighting fags would do.

I don't think I'll have enough time to invest into it in order to learn enough to not be shit at it. Also, none of my friends are into fighting games.

It's not, you get matches in 10-20 seconds and it's at pretty much every major FGC event, and has a fair amount of locals, though the entrant numbers are typically on the low side.

It's actually not a good game for casual play/button mashing, it's pretty clearly designed for competitive play and most casual players/general pokemon fans I know dislike it due to that. There's not enough characters for them and it's not conductive enough to just jumping in and having fun without learning the mechanics and each character.

That's not to say it's bad if you don't into fighting games, it's a good one to start with, but it's really only good if you intend on actually learning the game and it's mechanics and sinking significant time into it for MP.

They are tekken stages but given Pokemon aeshetics, so no.
