WOLVES HUNT IN PACKS
...
theres a 50/50 chance that you will like it
They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong.
boring combat
meh graphics
meh story
mute pawn voices in options for a 100% more pleasant experience
Don't play warrior, and a mage pawn with the healing spell isn't as useful as you think
>not liking aught
What about Strider?
fag
It's a slow burner. It doesn't really "click" till you get to to Gran Soren
Check a guide, you need a guide
PC version is the best, 60fps makes it a wholly different game
>not wanting your mindless slaves to know their place
Anything that uses daggers is crazy op
A very interesting and fun game with some unique concepts done very well, with nothing but rough edges all around. Then you'll hit the end of the game... And Its grand, absolutely fantastic, the end, the second end and the post game, as well as the DLC Bitter Black Isle, are incredible. Words of warning: if you have Dark Arisen, Id recommend using the eternal ferrystone liberally, while others would call it "casual" in a more "hardcore" gaming setting, the pacing of the game is already pretty poor until the end. Secondly, Bitter Black, while being open from the beginning of the game, is balanced for post game.
wolves hunt in packs
Yeah they only heal some of your damage. Better to go sorc.
Get all your heals from healing spring water. Newbietip: You can fill empty bottles with spring water for infinite potions. And when you drink them it heals the whole party.
I’ve also heard about a nighttime mechanic?
Certain monsters are more active at night and more aggressive
I hope you don't have a vore fetish, because you will now.
Arisen master.
I love these types of comics
Ok I just killed the first giant by the encampment, after that I picked up rook and threw him over the cliff. I went down the rocks to save him but the water swallowed me up. Haha this game is pretty jokes
Go back to cassardis and make sure you don't mess up jew tits quest line
Lots of roads, that all lead to Gran Soren
the most unpolished of all the unpolished gems
you will either love it or despise it
strenght in numbers arisen
Expect the Pawns to annoy/charm you with their idiocy and babbling.
Before accepting quests that advance the story finish all the side quests you can. Some aren't available after certain events.
Don't do escorts until you know where you have to go.
Have someone with enchant ice so you can kill lizards easily
Fun. Play a bit of the ranged classes and casting classes for a couple dozen levels and go Magick Archer. You'll thank me come Bitterblack Isle.
My wife? I stabbed her and she ran away
dont fuck with dragons until end game
make sure to have plenty of healing items
go warrior or strider
Take a gander at this so you don't miss any sidequests (ignore the optimal path though, that's just for speedruns)

I already bought this shit on PS3 waaaay back when it came out, never got into it because the FPS were shit and it was broken as fuck.
Should i give it another try on PC? I will pirate it because fuck paying for it again and i dont have spare money right now.
I heard that the online pawn system is important, how true is that?
Basically every enemy, big or small, has stagger and knockdown thresholds that you can overcome by attacking in quick succession and every move has it's own stagger and kd values.
Enemies also have stagger and knockdown states and all enemies take additional damage while in those states with kd state giving more damage. It's very rewarding to achieve a kd on big enemies.
Pawns will shout strategies mid battle that could contain a specific strat to kd an enemy.
>Drake catches my pawn
>I AM YOUR MASTER
>Pawn attacks me with a ferocity and accuracy that I've never seen before under normal circumstances
This fucking game, man...
Don' listen to this chad. Just play what you like. You don't have to play the best class in the game. I beat the game for the first time on hard difficulty without knowing about stat growth.
I got through bitterblack with sheer will. I had to know all the spawn points of the mimic checks and vampire gargoyles. My ryona fetish knows no bounds. youtube.com
PC is fine, and I hear there's some fun mods out there, but the Rent system is what made the game what it is. It's not mandatory, but player-made Pawns are far more interesting than the generated ones, and generally more useful.
WRONG
Oh well, just make sure you max affinity with a child npc and talk to them right before doing the quest at the great wall
Best worst game you've ever played.
no mod tits
>but the Rent system is what made the game what it is
Yeah that is what i was afraid of
A beloved you don't understand why is there.
played the game in offline mode at all times
Kick the ox.
I did bitter black as a warrior user what now
Is warrior a shitty class or what?
I want to play as a mage/warrior hybrid, is that possible?
A mix of dumb fun and tedium. It's not terrible.
mystic knight my man
I did this once and the game felt really fucking sad, I turned them on again after like 5 minutes.
To ba the jumping is glitched
They don't know about jump slashing to stunlock
>mystic knight
>Mystic Knights use both melee and magic in battle - they are a frontline class able to fight in the toughest of situations. Their primary weapon can be either a Sword or Mace, and can also utilise a Staff; their other key piece of equipmnent is a Magick Shield - generally a giant magickally imbued shield that they use both for defense, as well as a focus to cast spells with.
Yup, i am sold
with warrior you are limited to two-handed swords, so you can only have 3 abilities compared to the usual 6. Your mobility is also trash and your most powerful moves take approx. 30 minutes to charge
You can be a magick knight, but it's a bit lackluster since you have to be constantly swapping your sword and staff to get the most of the class
assassin main here.
Shield and dagger all day.
Just wait until you get magic cannon
The fact that entire Vocation gets btfo by Eminence Jumping Attacks shows the class fucking sucks compared to the other expert and hybrid vocations.
You honestly cant play Warrior on Hard without resorting to hopping around like an idiot because every other attack is considered unsafe compared to it. And your Health gains or armor mean little on Hard.
>hurrr got x what am i in for?
just play the fucking game
Same here. I missed my Pawn incessantly babbling about trees, roads and shops.
Without the chatter, the game feels very devoid of life.
He did.
Literally said he just started in the OP.
I like you
It's fun tho
the wind is pushing meee
It's not un-fun, sure. More fun to make a max height and weight Warrior on Normal, rush to get the Gryphic Victory from Ser Berne and transfer over 2 Barbed Nails and good armor and fuck everything up.
Hybrid classes are some of the best in the game due to magical weapons being the most powerful. you'll want to have a good magic stat by endgame if you want ez mode, but it's nothing to stress over.
Your main pawn can 6 classes. No hybrids though.
Just remember there's no need to limit yourself nor do you need to min-max. Almost every class is fun to play, and they all have passive Augments exclusive to them that, when unlocked, can be used with other classes (Warrior has a 20% Strength augment for example).
Mystic Knight is my personal favorite class, but I still enjoy Spell Synching as a Sorcerer or walloping things as a Warrior from time to time.
Warrior gets a little ridiculous when you remove level cap
>magical weapons being the most powerful.
This is wrong though due to how damage and defense is calculated
...
...
...
if you're gonna play melee don't create a ranged pawn
you read wrong bro. Factoring elemental strengths and weaknesses. Magical damage especially with high str and magic you're doing the most damage. The game's been out forever. There's no misinformation at this point.
You can remove the level cap?
>IT WAS JUST A PRANK BRO
If you can remove underwear, you can remove a little level cap.
Strider is incredibly under rated and can shit out disgusting amounts of damage with Brain Splitter. People also undervalue their kit pretty heavily
>Hear people complaining about Eliminators
>Laugh my way through Bitterblack as Implicate topples them in 2-3 casts
Way more fun than assassin imo
It's a game with good ideas that's executed pretty poorly.
Traveling is very tedious and annoying (even with port crystals) and there's not a lot of variety to the world. I'm currently 25 hours in and it's been 70% forest.
The game does a pretty poor job of explaining things to you, unless you look up a guy or some tips you'll probably have a hard time. (Pro tip: You can bind healing and stamina items to keys)
The only thing that keeps me going is seeing new monsters but I've been fighting the same shit for a while now and it's getting pretty boring.
Terrible and boring game
I want to play fighter, but I also want to actually kill shit in BBI. Why couldn't they have gouge? And why is 80% of the yellow vocation armor so horrendously ugly?
Fighter has Dire Gouge in Dragon's Dogma Online
G R I G O R I
first tavern you get to, go do the pawn meeting thing and tell them to be more quiet
too bad it won't do much
DD2 is a much better business venture than MHW, keep that janky fucking skinner box on handhelds. MHW looks expensive as fuck and they won't be making their money back, at least the demand for DD is there.
