Mugen isn't a real fighting game

not at all. sometimes I play guilty gear on the og xbox and do my best to learn bridget's combos but I never retain them or stick with it since I have nobody to play with.

I was never good at fighting games. I play the campaign on easy if i like a character in the game

Good at free flow fighting games, would probably have dominated competitive Tekken & Soul Calibur as well but I never got into them. I'm mediocre at games like GG, SF, etc, though.

Been playing Smash Bros. Melee for about 3 years now. pretty decent imo, not anything to write home about but im not bad

I'm a casual but can get used to combos just enough to not be beat by biological females. It's not really my kind of genre,plus the entire genre now is basically attention whoring and e-celeb shit so i try not to associate myself with such degeneracy. I like playing MK4 and tekken back in the day though

I think I'm somewhat alright. Friend says I got good game sense but I just can't get motivated to learn long combos. I play a lot of grapplers for that reason and sometimes I've figured out some short combos myself which I like to use.
Friend does spend some learning the combos and wins most of the time unless I get really on the groove with the bamboozlin'.

But it makes sense in the FGC you fucking cucumber, the whole point of fighting games is to prove you're mechanically and mentally better than your opponent. Next you're gonna say that you don't watch MMA because some fighters are more popular than others?

There's tons of issues with Mugen that would be easier to type out than "Ever heard of google", you clearly just don't know any.

I'm shit at them and I don't know if I can get any better at this point. A toddler with zero experience can effortlessly kick my shit after a few games.

No I agree, however that's e-sports, an entirely different thing,not related to vidya, which was my point.
