Holy shit why do steam sales suck so much ass?

holy shit why do steam sales suck so much ass?

I blame EA

blame valve you tard. the fired the main guy behind steam sales

Nahhh EA definitely had something to do with it. Have you seen that shit with the lootboxes?

kys you false flagging reddittor

It even became difficult to pirate modern games, there are so much DLCs,editions, unlocks and whatnot that is hard to track down a copy that has everything in it.

Gabe "Fatty Knuckles" Newell knows he can get away with shitty sales after earning the trust of gamers everywhere.

Refunds were implimented

>reddittor
Nice memeing there, brother

Pretty sure it isn't Valve setting the price on products.

IO became independent and went full kickstarter. Fucking $15 for 3 costumes, fuck them and me for ever thinking that they were the ones that would make Hitman great again.

VALVE DINDU NUFFIN -Reddit

>Fucking $15 for 3 costumes
dude what
the entire GOTY expansion is $20 (which is still a bit steep for what you get tbf)

I like steam and valve, but they are. They don't hold the final decision, but they send statistics and other data along with price recommendations to developers that would supposedly maximize sales and thus profits of the game.

valve introduced refunds which made flash sales no longer work correctly because you'd just refund the game if it showed up on flash sales, and buy it again

publishers and indie devs were not interested in selling their game 80% off for a week straight, while they apparently were willing to do so for 8 hours.

refunds happened
so either you can have refunds and have shitty to less shitty sales or no refunds and have the usual (shitty) deals and occasionally get an awesome deal of a game that you don't even want at times for a dollar

Valve doesn't touch the sales, developers do.

steam sales died way before refunds you newfags

You in the pic

>the entire GOTY expansion is $20 (
yea, 5 bucks for the story dlc, 15 bucks for the costumes.
if it was reversed and buyable separately it would have been one thing but it's not.

If they're not buyable separately, why are you complaining that one part is more expensive?

>early days of steam sales
>sucker in as much users with good sales
>current day
>everyone and their mother already has a steam account and their monopoly has already been established
>shitty sales

>no more great flash sale deals ever again

not really. Bioshock Infinite was cheaper during the 2014 winter sale, 6 months before refunds, than it was during the 2016 sale.

They're selling Steam Links for 5 bucks, are these things worth it?

all it does it stream video of your pc to your TV.

just buy a long HDMI cable instead so you don't have to deal with shitty WiFi lagg

>hitmanmanmanmanmanmanmantzero

Where can I find a cheap key for HITMAN?

internets

cheapest is 39

wait or buy it at that price, it is really worth it though
