i just bought this mouse today at best buy for $29 due to black friday, amazing mouse so far, i love the feeling,build quality and customizable weights. desu id still pay the full $45 for it.

Logitech stuff is nice, but longevity is most certainly a problem. Right now I have a Microsoft 1.1a that I got USED and it already served me longer than my previous 3 logitech mice combined.

The problem isn't your mouse, it's your bios.
It keeps the usbs turned on while the PC is off so you can power shit from it and consequently makes the mouse work when it shouldn't.
Just turn that shit off, and your problems are solved.

This happens to my chink mouse, I either disconnect it at night or just roll it over. The light gets pretty annoying and doesn't let me sleep because it shines with the power of a thousand suns.

I finally caved in and bought a "gaming" mouse after going through 3 regular mice while doing nothing out of the extraordinary (one of the buttons, be it the left or right stopped working on all three accounts) and I got a Logitech G403. It has 4 buttons (left, right and two where your thumb rests); the LED effects is almost minimal (only the logo and in the scroll wheel) and you can turn it off.

It's nice, though you have to be right handed to be able to use it.

I got your pictures related and am very happy with it. The only minus are the "11" programmable buttons. Because the only buttons you can really bind are the two buttons on the side. The rest won't bind Ingame and are for dpi settings.

g502 is the best. You might laugh at that thumb rest, now like a faggot, but my hand has never been more comfortable.

Just bought one of these. I can't wait to try it.

Bought myself a Steelseries Rival 310 today. I have to say I'm impressed. It's comfortable as fuck and not too big for my girly hands.

My hands aren't tiny and before the thumb rest, I used an mx 518 and various other cheap microsoft mice from 2009 to 2015 when I got the g502. I remember my thumb would get friction burn cause you unconsciously apply more pressure in tense situation. It was one of those things that you never knew you needed or couldn't live without until you had it. I use mine with all the weights on it. d

Good quality but basic mice, just like the Death Adder. You could do worse but if you just only care about 2 side buttons then they are top notch. Anything better from there on, add more buttons and features to excuse the rising prices. Like weights, lights, braided cables, DPI switch settings, etc.

The G403 has scroll wheel issues and the oldest models have loose scroll wheel issues.

I had to RMA my G403 twice already. Quality mouse if it has no issues. Otherwise you might want to steer clear.

I know, I have one. Don't know how you stand the weights though.

I actually owned a G402 before moving to the G403. No issues there unless you had braided cables. Usability the G403 is way more comfortable than the G402, partly due to my grip. The G402 has a lower profile.

Maybe i should switch to corsair. I have small soyboy hands and depsite liking logitech it is bothersome at times.

I still have my Zowie FK1 from like 2013. The outer coating is wearing off but the sensor is still good. They've made new renditions that might be even better since the 2013 model too.

If you wanna buy the RGB MLG Gaming branded versions then yes, you can get a regular deathadder for fairly cheap compared to other 'gaming' mice and the older cheaper versions of it are just as good (better if you listen to some stories)

OP, do you dislike "G" logo and DPI indicators that much? G402 nicely fits in hand and is comfortable to use. This comes from someone who had G400 over 4 years.

Recently bought G403 to replace my 6 years old G400. It's pretty nice, but if I can get another G400 new I'd buy that again instead.

It isn't the brand, but design. There's two types of mice, claw grip and palm grip. Palm grip mice are long and narrow on the sides. Claw grip mice tend to be short and stubby on the sides. There is no such thing as a mouse that does both extremely well cause it is a misnomer. Just like you can't have fire and water mix and blend.

I've never used g-sync but I just cap my 144hz monitor to 144fps in the GPU software and I havn't had any tearing issues. Does anyone know if Freesync/ G-sync is actually worth it?
