Actually a good game

actually a good game

It's ok. Not nearly as bad as some krystalfags want you to believe.

SF Guard is the real hidden gem though.

I agree. Gets too much hate.

Actually it's not.

It really did lack main content though. I really did enjoy the actual levels and the chicken is fun to use.

it's good

It's not.

Actually user is a furry fag and the game is shit.

That stupid ass Kanji keeps making ne read the title as Star Fox Zero 3.

it's a kanji for 'zero'
the bottom part is elongated and stylized as an actual zero

Now that I've played Doom, I can now safely say that Zero is better than it.

The game was okay at best. was pretty bare bones for stuff content but i had fun for the most part.

SF Guard now that's a good game.

Watching victories your teams had in Guard was extremely satisfying.

Is Guard really that good? I don't think I ever played it after how disappointed I was with Zero.

Try it, user.
See, tower defense isn't a type of game suitable for everyone but it's actually very good.

I've only played a couple tower defense games but I thought they were alright. I'll try it out since I've been needing something to play on Wii U

good

I wouldn't say it's good but I wouldn't say it's bad either. Once you get accustomed to the controls you get to the other problem of a lack of content.

The game is bad.
The characters are appealing but the game formula is obsolete so Nintendo need to come up with idea that will use old characters and place them in the game of different genre instead.

Because that worked so well for Adventure, Assault, and Command right?

Star Fox is fine.

not

That's fucking retarded.
There's no reason to completely abandon genres like that.

Rail shooters are dead

So they either come up with different genre with the same characters or abandon franchise alltogether

Star Fox will be the series to revitalize the genre.

>Rail shooters are dead
Not really no, no genre can "die".

Fuck you assault is great.

Assault was fucking shit.

Having only one real route to play (the single stage you get for winning the first starwolf fight isn't a real path to me) didn't really help. That, and every single boss is in all-range mode, which I understand due to the controls, but I never enjoyed those bosses. I do love fighting starwolf in this game, though.

>I do love fighting starwolf in this game, though.
>when you go in close enough to graze their ship and it zooms in

It was created with arcade cabinets in mind (after all it feature a big multiplayer focus and it was developed by Namco) but the single player falls a bit flat, especially the on foot section, holy fuck.
All in all though, it was better than both Adventure and Command. I can safely say though that Zero, despite not being great, is better than Assault.

then substitute "die" with "can't attract a sufficient number of customers to offset production costs"

nah

>"can't attract a sufficient number of customers to offset production costs"
Which is also wrong.

It's alright. A switch port redesigned around 1 screen could be truly great. The gyro aiming was never the problem, it's entirely on the second screen, and more specifically that the top screen aiming reticle is mostly fucking useless and that switching to the bottom screen never gets natural and is absolute cancer when the games in space and not on planets.

All Star Fox Zero ever needed to be was Star Fox 64 with gyro that let you move the reticle and ship independent of each other, and more intense gameplay to accommodate for how much more powerful that makes you compared to Starfox 64.

Duck Season.

Why can't they just make Star Fox 64 but better OR a good game?
