Switching to PC really does make it hard to go back. I tried playing TW3 and it has 30fps and motion blur out the ass. I could get used to it but only if I had to, for example Bloodborne I could get used to because it's not like you have any other choice.

While 30fps sucks and no one can honestly say 60 or higher framerate is obviously superior, if you truly can't physically stand 30fps, you have a problem.
Your body is an adaptive system, even in the worst conditions(when stable), it can adapt and naturally "ignore" the bad sides of the undesirable environment.
Sure, some people do get motion sickness from some games, but that's from various factors combined: inconsistent fps, fov, bobbing, draw distance, and other similar occurrences that actually give your brain a hard time processing what it is seeing as something consistent.
fps alone should and will not make you sick, unless you really have problems.

If you are ok with low FPS then you are the minority. Normal people can't stand vomit-inducing FPS that would sicken even an cosmonaut.

If you go from 60+ to 30, yeah it will feel like shit but you get used to it after a while. I went for the 144hz meme and 60hz felt disgusting but after an hour or so at 60hz it feels right again. Though, 60 fps should really be the standard by now.

It's a real issue when you're used to 60 and over, you get used to it somewhat but the feeling that it's a bit too slow and unresponsive is still there.

not him, but if the game is intentionally locked at 30fps, most of the time the small input delay due to framerate is not a game changing issue.
i.e, performing an action a few hundreds milliseconds later won't make a difference.
the only games where high framerate is needed for fast and reliable input with no delay are fps games and racing games.

Also, if it were true that input delay woul dmake ANY fps unplayable on 30fps consoles, then no one would be able to complete those games, play those games online, or be good at them, yet people do all 3 of those things.

I played on toasters for a lot(most i'd say) of my years and i got used to 30fps being the best i could achieve, with my average on high demanding games being around 20.
I'm about to get a new pc which while certainly not a high end one and quite cheap, it will guarantee 60fps on 90% of the games i want to play, and im afraid i'll find it a horrible experience.

You can turn motion blur off you know. I found the ps4 version very playable. Nowhere near as good as the pc though, mainly cos controlling the camera during combat is a pain in the ass.

you definitely will, for at least a month or so while your brain gets used to the fast and smooth motions that 60fps give off.

you'll surely experience headaches and nausea as well since you're not used to playing games that way, your body will understand the motions on screen and the sounds but it won't know why you're not moving according to them, so that will trigger it to think you've been poisoned or intoxicated, so headaches and nausea will be normal considering your body will try to make you throw out the ''poison''

Play something with mindless gunplay or stuff related until you get used to it. Don't play any story rich games during that period of time, you won't be immersed into them at all.

I read online that it helped. I think the people on the switch reddit were just used to bad framerate and thought it was fine at 22fps constantly I guess.

i seriously don't get how people can get sick from 30fps. i don't feel anything when there's a shit ton of lag in tf2 and i get sub 25fps (custom shit with a ton of effects) or going from 120+fps to random dips to 40fps (normal play). is tf2 just a bad example or something? never heard of any friends getting this, though they're just normalfags who play fifa (they've all played cod at some point). it's worth mentioning that i get a massive headache every like 2 months or so, but im sure that's because i play vidya a whole bunch in general
