I really, really like it. Though I can see why some people think its fucking garbage. Too bad you didn't enjoy it, OP.
>Defeat the UR dragon
>Farm some of the best gear in the game
>Use my pawn on an alternate account
>My level 14 pawn is killing more enemies than my level 89 pawn, whom is just standing there watching enemies attack my main character
You can change how they behave.
I liked it since i played the demo in PS3 and then played it on Pc for free, i still think that the price is not the correct one for me to buy it, but i you get to like it it's a great experience.
TODAY I WOKE AND LOOKED OUTSIDE AGAIN
Okay faggots which dificulty do I choose, normal or hard?
rate my arisefu
i choose normal is bad?
Hard.
The main story/world feels more like a demo at times and the everfall/BBI copy+pastefest can feel lazy, but goddamn the combat + class system is so perfectly up my alley that i eagerly forgive the games deep flaws, DD is one of my favorite games of the past few years. it's far from perfect but no other game captures the 'adventuring with a party' feel like this one does. i feel bad you couldnt enjoy it OP but like said i can understand not being able to see past some of those downsides.
i really hope there is a sequel (spiritual or no) and that they actually finish it properly.
DD is one of the few games were i feel hardmode doesn't really add anything to the experience except tedium
...
Normal
After a lot of one hit kills early game, hard is pretty much exactly the same. You get rewarded with way more gold though.

Intentionally get killed and drop it down to easy. Even the strongest enemy attack will only send you into the dangerzone.
DD is so weird. There isn't a single aspect of the game that can't be improved on, yet it manages to still be a masterpiece. Fucking how did they do it?
I doesn't pretend it's not a videogame.
i think its because the systems and progression all interact with each other to form a cohesive whole. e.g. the whole game is combat-focused, and every aspect of the design feeds into that (For the most part), e.g each class is unique but there is overlap to encourage experimentation/different playstyles as far as progression goes, terrain/enemies interact with the player/combat in meaningful ways, materials + items and plentiful and are useful for both money (even late game, money is key for upgrades) and for upgrades themselves which once again feeds into combat, etc etc
contrast this with say something like FO4, where each system is more or less serviceable on its own, but is essentially isolated, so that exploration is meaningless, character progression stops being interesting because enemies cant keep up, settlement building contributes nothing to the game itself, and so on.
>There isn't a single aspect of the game that can't be improved on
Absolutsly wrong, those japs need to work on their storytelling and worldbuilding. The main story is horrible and the world lore or lackthereof makes the game souless and empty. Granted DD is it's only game of a new IP and doesn't have a gorillion stories and lore like Dark Messiah and Elder Scrolls but you gotta have some exposition.
user, you misread his post. he is saying that every aspect could use improvement, but that the game is still great DESPITE that fact. i dont think anyone is going to try to argue that the worldbuilding/story/lore is any good in DD. i would disagree that the game feels empty though--it does eventually feel very game-y when you've fought the same goblins/bandits in the same places for the 100th time, but at first the design of the world itself + the density of wildlife/monsters makes the world feel relatively vibrant. unfortunately like you said, because there is no real lore and somewhat of a lack of narrative/content, the illusion wears off pretty quick.
I can’t justify getting the game.
The graphics looks like absolute garbage, so does the UI and menus.
Why should I get it?
>muh graphics
stick to bland TES garbage
i'll concede that the UI, especially managing inventory, is atrocious though. the appeal of the game is its combat + class system though. as has been stated multiple times, no one is going to argue that the game doesn't have major flaws but the game just has a character and fun factor sorely missing from most AAA RPGs over the past bunch of years.
5/10
but hey its just my personal opinion, i dont like brown.
>i dont like brown
i hope it's just for the game user
This is one of the few games I've played where I actually loved using magic. Maelstrom is awesome.
Until you learn about holy focused bolt slam and only use that forever.
game should have ended after you kill the supposed final boss. game dragged farming 30 of those things
Normal. Hard is actually ez mode due after 5-10 hours due to the insane amount of money you get.
THEY ARE MASTERWORKS ALL YOU CAN'T GO WRONG
>farming everfall
>a drag
You get 5 fucking wakestones per room and you only need 20 you ADD ridden autist.
>Reading comprehension
>farming a bunch of shitty 5 minute dungeons, an eyeball, and a dragon buffed to shit
yea no it's shit. that quest made no sense at all
>5 minute
holy fuck how bad are you?
WOLVES HUNT IN _ _ _ _ _
shit fucking taste CONFIRMED

Groups?
I’m pissed that I was tricked into buying this glitch-ridden shitfest by Sup Forums. The only interesting thing is the combat. Everything else is poorly done
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ALL YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
It's that how you spell i have shit taste now ?
>start game
>go into the first citys well and encounter a bunch of lizards
>get destroyed
>go to main city, become warrior, grab all the gear they give me
>one shot everything in the sewers
it's shit
>get owned
>change class and turn the tables
>game is bad
???????
??????

good thing i bought it for cheap before gabe decided to mess with the currencies
still feel ripped off
>Skyrim's main quest having any sense of balance or fun
>Skyrim's NPCs being useful in even the slightest
Normal on your first play through. Hard mode is only good if you know what you're doing and want to progress quickly.
this has got to be the most polarizing game I've ever seen on Sup Forums. people seem to absolutely love it or hate it.
should I buy y/n
>Game has any semblance of difficulty at all
>It's the Dark Souls of [...] games
>Game is open world
>It's like the Skyrim of [...] games
>Game has fantasy setting
>It's kind of like the Dragon Age of [...] games
Not to put too fine a point on it,
but gaming journalists are fucking hacks
I really wanted to like it but by the time I killed Grigori I was totally sick of it. Shame because that was when the game was getting interesting.
I bought this game on release for the PS3 then purchased the DA version. I got it on PC and PS4 too.
WHERE THE FUCK IS THE SEQUEL CAPCOM?
The game is way 2empty4me.
DEEP DOWN FUCKING WHEN
>DD will never get a sequel that reaches DDs full potential
How do we kill Capcom
>giving a literal fuck what IGN thinks
>no roll
Dumbest game ive ever played
is DD:DA on PS4 60 FPS?
No it’s 30 fps and looks like absolute shit. It’s just a lazy port
I think the assassin class has a roll or a dodge
Makes sense to me that the DEX class has the agile dodge roll
