I play coop vidya with the gf in the same room, and even if we're not playing the same game we'll be just playing our respective shit and talking back and forth

I'm a huge nerd and my gf has 0 knowledge of games and 4% WASD coordination.
Been trying to hook her into gaming (and also movies and series) but I'ts been hard.
Try to make her play EASY AS FUCK games, that are still engaging and could make her learn the basics of gaming. Mario is not easy. If you want her to lpay Mario eventually, you should make her play the easiest car games, wichever that is.
Make her play easy games, like Diablo 3 or WoW's leveling, Slime Rancher for FPS entering, maybe Stardew Valley.
If everything fails, Facebook iddle games, even if it hurst your heart.

Yeah, he's expressed interest I just never knew where to start, that's a good idea. I also don't know if he actually is interested or if he's just being sweet and trying to share one of my hobbies, but we'll give it a try
Ah yeah I don't know how the scenes there are. I'm in Manhattan so there's a million different meetup groups for every kind of interest, or barcades, etc.

My fiance plays a lot of video games. She beat the FFXIV Stormblood raid the week it came out, and is right this second playing BoTW.
Whenever I'm playing console games, she either plays vita/ds/switch or watches anime. (I don't really watch any anime.)
