What's the current state of Amiibo piracy? Do these n2elige things actually work or is there a better way?

is it really piracy if you have to spend money?

Buy a MAN'S console you fucking queer.

it's probably more similar to emulation than piracy

So xbox one?

>is there a better way?
Make your own Amiibos using your phone.

I'm a reseller of these, ama. They do work by 1:1 cloning the data

What's the fucking point when you can make cards like for 1/10th the price

Amiibos are still a thing?

how

Why would you need amiibo piracy?

>tfw shitty phone without nfc function
Is there an alternative way to pirate amiibos ?

selling millions, yes. do you live under a rock?

Because it's all in one place. It's geared towards people that don't want to have 300 labels all over the place when they go somewhere. Plus they've gone down in price to like $40

i'm practically a self made millionaire off selling these on etsy

what's your response when reggie asks what those are?

>Buy any NTAG215 NFC cards/stickers (I got these zipnfc.com/nfc-cards-and-discs/nfc-plastic-cards/nfc-tag-pvc-card-credit-card-size-ntag215.html)
>Download Tagmo from github (Google it)
>Download Amiibo binaries from nfc-bank.com/bins.php?categoryid=2
>Put tagmo and amiibo bins onto your phone
>turn on phones nfc
>load bins in tagmo, write onto cards
Costs almost nothing

I tell him I don't know how he sleeps at night selling disc locked content to people for $19.99 a pop.

I haven't seen them in stores in months.

don't know what's worse, actually buying amiibos or actually putting effort into pirating them

I see them everywhere

I just bought the Amiibo powersaves thing from Gamestop for $15, GBAtemp has a guide on it

Doesn't that only let you do one at a time though? Kinda annoying if you have a lot you wanna do.

What's the point of an amibo like wtf do they do?

It would be called bootleg tech then

It's DLC in the form of a cutesy plastic figure. It's literally okay when Nintendo does it.

DLC locked behind a physical toy but it's ok when nintendo does it

>they can't into microelectronics

You don't need a cuck's phone that charges them $500 of mommy and daddy's money. No NFC compatible phone that's good costs less than $150. Own your phone, don't let a lease own you.
You also don't need a $80 do-it-for-you device.
Just connect a few wires, upload a program, and then reuse it for something better when you're done making them. Re-make your NFC writer when you need to write a gain.
Learn a skill in the process.

>making hundreds of cards instead of using rewritable powertags for cheaper

>thinking you can only buy a phone on a lease
literally fucking retarded apple/samsung baby

How do you have a phone without NFC?
My first smartphone six years ago had it.

>40$
Sites I'm looking at are all 70.

Why would you willingly drop more on a phone than you spent on your PC?

step 1: be poor enough to want to pirate amiibos

Figures that unlock bonuses in some games. Like in Odyssey you can use the amiibo to unlock some outfits faster, or you can use Bowser to easily find purple coins.

I didn't. I paid $350 for my phone, because I'm not some retard who buys iPhone/Samsung trash. I could've gone even cheaper and bought a motorola, too, which are also pretty nice phones .

It was a Galaxy Nexus, $300 on release date.
I thought all phones had NFC now.

You don't even need a phone anymore, you can make bootleg amiibos with nothing but a 3ds (assuming new3ds or old 3ds with the amiibo reader).

This is what I use, however it does not allow you to rewrite tags.

For starters, they're not a tenth of the price anymore. NFC tags are up to almost a dollar a per. Even the shadiest seller in China selling them in bulk has them for roughly 80 cents each.

An Amiibo spoofer like the N2 or Powersaves is like $20.

I don't think the tags are rewritable in general, you just buy a shitload of em for super cheap and write every amiibo you'd ever want.

I have a rewritable amiibo tag and yes it works. I can literally emulate any and all past and future amiibos with just one chip

if you have a smart phone with an nfc reader, which is just about every android device, just buy some nfc stickers and make your own amiibos.

Arduino is still the cheapest way to do any of this.
Less than $50
You don't need a $300+ phone
You don't need a $80+ device whos ONLY purpose is to do the amiibo writing.

Get a goddamn arduino and learn something. You can reuse it for other things afterwards.
I thought PC gamers were into that sort of thing. Imagine if they bought a PC JUST for playing games.

>Costs almost nothing
It costs about a half a pound, which is roughly 50 cents USD. After a certain point, it's cheaper to buy a rewriteable tag/puck than it is to keep buying NFC tags.

If you find yourself needing a device that costs more than $150. Glad you could finally justify your purchase.

>spend $50 on arduino
vs
>spend no money at all because since I'm writing amiibos I already have a 3ds that can use them

>Arduino is still the cheapest way to do any of this.
$20. codejunkies.com/powersaves-for-amiibo/

I don't know whose ass you're pulling that $80 figure from.

Iphones never had them to my knowledge

What the fuck. Are you implying people are buying smart phones to write Amiibo tags and not because it's almost 20 fucking 18?

Can someone please explain to me what is the point of upgrading smartphones, what do you use it for?
I still have a galaxy s2 and it can do literally anything I want or need. Mobile games are shit anyway and I used to play around with gba emulators but its just painful to play without buttons.

I have this one and it works very well

>implying people posting on Sup Forums own a computer

this looks like it just edits your existing amiibos, how do you use it as an actual amiibo substitute?
