Bravely Default is such a shitty fucking game

No gameplay, characters or even story excuses such bullshit

good luck baiting one of the few games Sup Forums likes

Sup Forums likes complete dogshit based on arbitrary criteria as a principle

Except you can bum rush that part really quick and get to the end if you want?

In all seriousness, the loops are the best part. They add actual challenge to the game by having the bosses team up, and giving them more characterization by learning more about them, their reasoning/backstory/etc.

Do these games play on Citra?

>years later retards still spout this meme
You only need to defeat the 4 bosses, it can be done in a couple of hours.

I want to excuse the loops because they progressively revamp every sidequest boss but the major problem I have with that is the 4 main bosses are untouched except stats.
It would have been interesting if they followed the same suit and gained abilities and tactics to keep you on your toes like the sidequests would

I fell in love at the first "MGRGR!" Just got to chapter 2 and still loving BD. Picked up BS last week so I can play it immediately after I finish the first game. I hear that the soundtrack for the sequel is lackluster, though. BD's soundtrack is amazing so hopefully second isn't that bad.

It can be done quicker than that. You can fly through all the loops in 20 minutes if you skip the repeating cutscenes,

The OST is mediocre but the real shitter is the writing. You have to force yourself to keep playing at every cutscene.

I don't think I've seen a single person who liked having to do the same shit 5 times. At best they liked the sideboss stuff that appeared but definitely not having to fight the crystal bosses 5 times but each time they're 10 levels higher or whatever.

The music is pretty forgettable but its not terrible,
Yeah the story is the thing that took a real nosedive in quality. At least the ending was kind of hype.

and yew's family story was quite rich for a animu nerd
