So how did Sup Forums spend this nice saturday/saturday night
>All dat Plagioclase
Dear god.
mining is actually pretty chill with a barge + alt acc with a freighter
sadly the whole 2 subscriptionss for one with friend ref only works once
What game?
EVE Online
shit I miss EVE Online now
Spreadsheet simulator
Downloaded nier, wanted to play it but ended up fighting as a smurf in halfway fortress with my gaming buddy for the entire night. Was nice.
I have a free alt that can fly a venture just to hop back into EVE and mine shit on occasion. I love the idea of EVE, but I simply don't have the time to invest to really enjoy it fully anymore.
its kinda boring and sometimes pointless but still sucks you back in everytime
its impressive actually
Jesus, at least join a null corp and mine good ore
You know that with the new sub system you can use your main instead right?
>spent the last 2 hours camping a relic site
>guy finally starts scanning it
>he's lost 2 T2 exploring ships today alone
>starts hacking the site
>decloak, burn towards him and he instawarps off
There is nothing more disappointing
I feel like a retard for not getting closer and bumping him
Pulling a 14 hour shift for amazon web
services
You're welcome faggots.
Very true.
I'm seriously considering going back to it now
Working a shitty warehouse job. 12 hour shifts, back to back to back but I do have the weekdays off. I would be playing BoTW on my PC or Hand of Fate 2 if I had the time or energy to do anything though.
what's that worth, like 1 million ISK?
i was mining with 2 friends and we talked over discord it was actually pretty fun and the gains with 5 barges + orca where actually pretty good
the OP pic is only what i didnt sell off in the end and im still getting my share of the 4-5 full Orca loads we mined
i guess its less about the mining and more about the doing it with friends part for me
im also doing it 99%afk minimized while playing rainbow six siege
My main is a wanted man.
65 mil
I'm learning how to model in 3D.
I've just been sitting around posting on Sup Forums.
I'm considering trying to play Dark Souls again for the 100th time, but I always get tired and drop the game before the halfway point.
you work at home? how is it?
played heroes with my old pal from the navy, got caught up on what's goin on in our lives. probably gonna go play WoW or some shit soon and get comfy and RP or something.
shame on you
i suck at PvP and nullsec might aswell be "instant death the second i uncloak-sec" for me
the only reason you suck is probably because you never really tried. trying means losing many, many ships.
i feel like my builds are all shit and going the cookie cutter online build way isnt fun
the second i go past 0,5 i keep meeting bigger fish regardless of what im flying
I crossed some higher ups in corps by selling out a ton of intel on their operations and getting a cut on it. I tried to blow off the heat by staging a character sale, but either people didn't buy it or didn't care since I'm complete anathema to joining other people that don't want to die.
I tried to lay low by joining a newbie corp in high and just play nice doing small things with them, but they had all their space assets sieged and killed by about 10 wardecs a week after I joined. Even the Uni won't take me now, but I'm too attached to my character to give it up. As of last year, this is all still going on, and it's been 4 and a half since I leaked a bunch of stuff.
To be honest, actual combat is usually pretty easy outside of a few semi-advanced maneuvers, its the initiation into combat that's difficult. How, where, and what you engage with is probably 90% of the equation.
Runecrafting
Wish I could get into this. I'm autistic and need a lot of direction with games and everything else, which this game gives none of. Even when I joined a null sec corp I didn't even really feel like doing roams and shit. It's such an amazing game though, I wish I could be one of those motherfuckers who play for 10 years and just build up their shit.
tfw playing since several months and never got into it because im 99% just mining
i mean you kinda deserved it but isnt it a bit overkill to be so asshurt about it?
being lonely as fuck
I love the comfiness of mining in a barge, and would love to do it as part of a corp but I don't want to be beholden to any schedules or any shit nor do I know who I could trust in the game to not just lead me off into some bullshit to be blown up a few times. So every time I play the game a bit I love it for a week then drop it because mining alone is boring.
On an old account I was part of a mining corp and we did group mining runs with dedicated haulers and protectors, it was pretty cool but I dropped that account after a while and don't remember how to get back into it. My alpha clone has access to mining barges now though (at least I had paid for a omega account for a while to get it and am still sitting in it so if I went back I assume I could still use it).
Some day I'll probably get the itch again, nothing quite feels like this game. Mining ore that I know will be used by players to make stuff is a lot better than other MMOs where you just mine stuff then... use it to craft shit purely to level as there is no real use for it otherwise.
nah you cant use it even if you sit in it
Oh that sucks.
Woking on my board game and then working at my board game cafe job.
it really does but its still better than the old "trial" where you had to make a new account
at least this way you can train some of the skills while in alpha state
I guess when you've got a ton of resources, it's fun just to fuck with one guy specifically.
Just think, for a lot of people, they can go months without anything bad happening. I can't go one week without getting suicide ganked in high or hunted down in low/null. WH are safe in the sense they're no worse than they were as long as I don't set up an outpost or tower.
True. Last played... a few month ago so it'll probably be a while till I get the itch to play again. At least now I don't have to restart each time. Would be best to find a corp with some good space for mining because trying to find a good mining spot that was also within a decent range of somewhere to sell the ore at prices that aren't ass was a bit of a pain.
we got suicide ganked 3 times in 0,9 space today
is an orca + a few barges really that a juicy target?
i mean our drones alone melted them in less than what it took for CONCORD to show up
Two years ago, I had trouble even doing missions in a 100m battleship without destroyer swarms showing up. I think there's a bounty from null corps that pay a few million ISK for every barge kill though, remnant of Hulkageddon times from long before.
an orca can be a pretty juicy target, yeah.
but what makes them think they can get the Orca down before CONCORD shows up in 0,9 space while 20 drones run a train on their shitty gallente destroyers
>20 drones
How do you even defend against blobs like that
is it too late to try this game
do i need to spend money to have a chance?
I played Warframe and got all the best gear using my superior jew tactics, wondering if that might apply here
its not free to play so yeah you do have to spend money
try the free trial it limits what skills you can use but as a trial its actually pretty good and not time limited
it's never too late to try eve
ingame skills aren't everything - they'll make your ships better, sure, but you can always get outplayed or countered
plus, it's not a linear progression into everything at once. you can specialize in a ship type and get perfect skills for it relatively quickly
although, you absolutely can jew your way to high level skills using skill injectors
its not too late to try it, but you should try to get yourself into a corp that interests you quickly, or you're gonna get lost and bored.
