*Blocks ur path*
why is this game so impossible?

Try playing differently. I stopped playing it like a souls game and had a lot more fun.
Just beat the blob thing. That took some retries to understand where you need to place yourself during certain attacks but so far my biggest hurdle was this cunt.
He feels like he was designed for you to fight when you have skills you can't unlock yet like a proper Parry at your disposal. I'm looking forward to fighting him on more even footing later.
When does the game really start pushing your shit in?
If you are noob just summon people and let them beat the game for you.
if you are noob just summon people and let them post on Sup Forums for you
What kind of faggot would do that?
there's a bit of difficulty drop after Moonshiggy, wih a brief detour at Hino-enma, that lasts until the end of the base game
then the DLC kicks your dick in
>Yuki is hard
He doesn’t know how hard it will get
Yuki certainly makes me hard
>He doesn't know
You poor bastard, if only you knew what awaits you. Don't worry the fight only took me like 37 tries or some shit
I couldn't even beat Nue.
I specced out for sword build and literally one shot nobunaga with a finisher, then did Yuki as usual
>Doing one of the boring side missions
>Get to the last area
>Two trash enemies than an oni
>Okay, challenging, but w/e
>Three trash enemies than an oni
>Huff...huff...okay, that was pretty tough, mission over now?
>Five trash enemies than a raven tengu
>mfw
I couldn't even beat Hino-Enma. Like I tried running to the right and still got hit and died.
I played up until I got to the fight where you fight Yuki and one of the other bosses at the same time. Had beaten the base game at that point so ended up dropping it. Are those extra missions worth it? Should I start NG+? This was quite awhile ago since I played on PS4
Trash
Keep circling and dodge through his claws. Smack him in the face when he uses his laser.
Scrub
The only thing you have to block is her spin. Her combos are only three swings, punish after her third.
the giant kitsune boss made me hard
Play the DLC it is awesome.
She's pretty fast but she only has a few combos. A lot of her moves hurt really bad, but you can literally learn her entire moveset in a few tries.
I'm still waiting for a physical release of the complete edition to EU.
i...it's coming right?
why would you block her spin when you can just spring away from it?
git gud
Ninja here. It took me 3 tries.
Nin nin!
>raven tengus
Fuck, I hate those motherfuckers with a passion. It takes me a bit to beat them because their attacks are so quick. Aside from using electric status ailment, is there any other way to make fighting them not a pain in the ass?
*uses fire talisman*
psst nothing personnell baka
it takes two to discord, bub
This part was retarded.
Beat the spider boss in first try, Yuki-ona pushed my shit in, took me 23 tries to beat her.
I realized too late you can dodge most of her attack by just running, no need to spam dodge
Blob thing was the worst piece of shit. Funny after that the game scales so much better and haven't had much trouble.
you should never spam dodge anyway
the dodge is specifically made to punish dodge spam by double dodges resulting in a slow shitty roll
the spider boss is the easiest in the game, even easier than onryoki
just killed her op, whats your problem?
on her first phase I found almost no openings, you can't be greedy, but her second phase is VVERY VERY VERY EASY.
on her second phase just stay really far from her, she'll always dive and not reach you, giving an opening for a combo, didn't even use my spirit dog.
She's like a baby version of Sister Friede. Git gud.
Also why are tonfas so OP? They break guard like cutting butter.
I actually spam dodge alot since I went full ninja build.
Also, dumb habit I gaines from The Surge
That fight isn't even that hard, just stay close and if she does the ground slam dash backwards. If you really cant dodge the shards just block them.
Friede isn't even a good fight, let alone comparable to ice bitch.
god dark souls 3 is shit
yeah, got her on the second try, whats the problem op?
>needing baby's debuff
I didn't discord intentionally until WotN
axe high strong attacks fucking smash everything in seconds without pussy ass elemental debuffs
>googling for this image
>first results are "Aaarrrggghhh!!! Screw those fire wheel demons!!!" and "F*** those flaming wheel monks!"
There's nothing left to say.
Also who the fuck decided that ammo shouldn't refill at shrines when all the DLC missions are steal missions.
Wheel monks are easy. Stand in front of the face until it breaths fire and then dodge behind it, hit the glowing face to knock it down and wail on it. Rinse and repeat.
lol stop being a retard.
this fight is designed to be fought with dodge, simple as that. I was trying to cheese it, spam skills, block, nothing worked.
when I gave up and just learned to dodge, and stay near him, every time he does his iai you can dodge behind him and gain a FULL BEHIND HIS BACK COMBO.
basically if every time he does his iai you give him a full combo you'll kill him in no time, easy as that, I died like 10 times, after I started playing the game right I managed to kill him thrice without problems, try it too.
its a matter of not playing like a pussy.
I played the demo back then and couldn't beat the boss no matter how many times I tried. What's the trick to being decent at this game?
Block.
blocking just depleted my stamina
but it also prevented the damage
Are you meant to focus on just one or two weapon types? So far I've been leveling all the stats and putting samurai points into all the trees just to try things out, not sure if I'm fucking myself though.
So am I supposed to just block and do one swing afterwards? Because that's how much stamina is at your disposal.
just warm her icy heart with a hot island song.
Better than getting combo-ed to death while learning nothing. Everything got instantly easier when I blocked first and started learning when to let go of block to dodge or regain ki.
You can buy a respec book at the blacksmith for cheap.
if its impossible then how have so many people beaten all of the difficulty levels?
>then the DLC kicks your dick in
>tfw breeze through the first DLC no problem, had a bit of a tough time with yokai Shigazane or whatever his name is
>get my shit kicked in by Maria but managed to pull through
>second DLC I get surrounded by enemies and arrowed to death a binch of times
>get my dick thoroughly grated by the tonfa ninja
Felt good though, after the base game's bosses being mostly slow fuckers, the DLCs throw in some mean and aggressive sons of bitches at you. I love it.
Why this game is so repeative? I had a blast at first with combat system being really fun and everything but now after beating Yuki Onna I can't even force myself to launch it again.
I have like 60 on skill and this lets me handle both dual katanas and tonfas.
dual katanas are great for killing oni and tonfas just wreck any humans I come across, its perfect.
I also put some points in magic, dex to be able to do some quests and also spirit.
later I'll respec and just put everything in skill again.
Wheel monks are either the easiest piece of shit you get in an encounter, or the most annoying garbage
>tfw no way to have good 2kat Odachi build
early on you don't want to invest in more than two
later on you can invest in 5 if you want to and you'll only miss out on a little extra flat melee damage
I put my skill points in the chain and sickle and the axe. Did I fuck up?
no
even if you do fuck up which isn't possible on NG, you get easy access to respec books
Yes, real men do only Axe.
