Is there any in this rout with authority to make good Lord of the Rings games?
Is there any in this rout with authority to make good Lord of the Rings games?
Wasn't SoM good?
No
EA did before they went to shit
for a very loose definition of good
That's only good due to being a decent imitation of FFX
The one for GBA, LOTR Return of the King
>tfw the best LOTR vidya is a LEGO game
Let's trot out the usual "it's a great game, just not a great [franchise] game".
Nothing has ever stopped Monolith from making fun games with FUCKING RETARDED plots, and nothing ever will.
I thought the Two Towers was a good game.
Lord of the Rings Conquest was pretty good.
Basically battlefront with swords and bows.
it's not a great game, though
EA was always shit.
>tfw the movie tie in games are actually good
They clearly had their own franchise in mind before WB threw the Lord of the Rings license at them.
Chances are no one working on the game actually like Lord of the Rings.
Lord of the Rings Online was the best LOTR game, and that's just sad.
Battle for Middle-Earth was a pretty decent RTS in my opinion
Literally just about to post this.
Man fuck EA, those retards killed the white council because they felt there'd be no interest in it.
LotR has been pretty kind when it comes to game tie-ins, most of them tend to lean towards "good" at least, your mileage may vary
Why?
I thought i was really fun, I enjoyed it although the thought of its mechanics being an assassin's creed ripoff sometime irks me.
So no more part 3?
>that lotr rpg for ps2
Talion flat out eats shit at the end of Shadow of War, so I doubt it.
I would say that the franchise has been pretty good to RTS fans.
Boring AssCreed gameplay that was somehow even more easy than AssCreed was. Lore rape, and not even the kind of hentai rape where the girl still cums buckets, the assrape that you'd see in a horror movie where the victim is screaming and bleeding all over the place.
