No, that was a Tales game released on PS3 in 2009.
Literally looks like every other Tales game released before and since, barring Zesteria/Berseria cancer
If you're playing Tales for graphics you're gonna be in for a bad time.
it looks great, what do you expect from an overworld? The detail rightfully goes into the settlements and dungeons.
You know they were gonna go for realistic graphics for vesperia but opted out, wonder what it would have looked like.
>says PS3 game
>posts 360 screenshot
Really gets the old brain synapses firing
My guess would be shit.
Because the closer a game gets to realistic settings and graphics the less actually entertaining the game becomes.
Probably a severe case of uncanny valley
It has a Ps3 port though.
Games with shit graphics shouldn't be released on HD consoles, put them on PS2 if you're releasing a PS2 quality game
HD implies that the console outputs a 720/1080p signal, not because it tickles your g-spot.
360 and Ps3 weren't HD consoles. they ran 720p to 1080i.
720p is HD.
most tales games dont have worldmaps anymore
its actually a lot more impressive than it seems
Game came out in 2008 and was made on the 360 with a shitty ps3 port
It's a fucking overworld, all JRPGs look like that.
and for what it was, it was still pretty tight for an overworld
Its an overworld
Something I miss
>implying you can tell the difference

Vesperia is still the prettiest Tales game.
That's not saying much. Tales games are C-tier in visuals, and I say that as a fan.
What is it that makes you fags like overworlds? Makes no sense.
Vesperia was a lot of fun. With DQ8 and Ni no Kuni the only 3d JRPG's I've enjoyed.
Too bad all the newer Tales games are not nearly good enough to even play.
Gives you a sense of scale and a true worldly adventure
Most RPGS these days makes the world feel claustrophobic and a corridor
FF15 did it pretty good
Still the best looking tales game because it actually has an artstyle
