Best LOTR game right here

Best LOTR game right here

...

Amon Hen was such a great place

Agreed, it really bothers me that no modern arpgs have implemented customizable movesets. The only other game I can think of off the top of my head is jade empire.

That's not Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth II

When there will be a good LOTR rpg?

Didn't that have nothing to do with the events of the books/films?

Anyone ever play the gamecube RPG? How was it?

>II
>not the first game

your'e actually retarded

Fuck yes, finally sending in the Rohirrim army you've been building up all campaign at Pelennor Fields, after a harrowing Minas Tirith siege only to still just scratch by, and finally get your ass bailed out by Aragorn and seizing the day, absolute perfection.

OP is still top tier though.

>That slow-mo cheat code
YEAH
>Haven't seen it implemented afterwards if it's not the main gimmick of the game

II is objectively superior

II is fan fiction

>not return of the king
come on now.

>
lmao

It didn't do justice to Pelennor Fields

>not BFME 2

see

Neither of them, the faction i II were better (minu goblins), but 1's campaign was much better

>tfw I remember enjoying The Third Age

I haven't played it since I rented it once when I was 14. Was it any good?

>The Battle For Middle Earth is stuck in license limbo and will never have an official digital release

>Christopher tolkien will die in your lifetime
>Finally allow more use of the license
what a time to be alive

Fuck no, I don't want modern-day retarded Hollywood involved with LOTR anymore.

Didn't even need army of the dead, just keep on spamming that hero skill of Theoden that made all your cavalry invincible for a while was enough

That's why it is good to still have the DVDs of BFME, BFME 2 and The Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-Earth Two: The Rise Of The Witch-king.

It was really fun, although when you got the parry/instant kill move it made stuff like the Bloody Palace-esque mode (Tower of Orthanc?) totally trivial

I traded mine in years ago, but I think there is probably a solution online somewhere

>First RPG as a kid was The Third Age
>Didnt know about changing items in the menu, thought they auto equiped
>Made it all the way to the Balorg with the starting items

Good times
