They're very different games. S.T.A.L.K.E.R is pretty much a unique experience, Metro is just another shooter with Russian accents.

Metro... nah, Especially the LL and the REDUX versions are just trash. Original 2033 is worth maybe 1 playthrough, and only on highest difficulty.

Metro is a generic shooter, that might be worth it for the novelty of the setting. Stalker SoC and CoP are some of the best shooters ever made, especially modded.
