any server where i can play cracked mc? all these threads make me wanna. just without niggers running around with enchants and potions
...
...
Wish there was still beta generation
Now I know all of the 12 year olds playing Minecraft grew up
...
I built something like this back when the only people who know about minecraft was Sup Forums
Fuck I miss that game
this... its too hilly nowadays that you cant build a village
Every time I get the urge to go play minecraft again because I've got some neat idea about something I want to build or because I want to start a long slow project of terraforming as much area as possible, playing half hour a day or something, I always wind up starting, finding some coal, digging a big square hole into the cliff-face as my house, digging down for iron, then getting bored and quitting.
I don't know if I lack imagination or patience or both.
It's because the game isn't alive, when you start to make decent headway with a project then step back to take a look and think "Man, this is really cool" you then look around at the dead world where nothing happens apart from some brain dead wildlife and quit.
>just without niggers running around with enchants and potions
Thats not going to happen unless you play a prerelease server
...
>tfw have a shitty laptop so have to play on lowest settings
this hurts me, i actually think the game can look quite pretty on high settings
what makes me get bored is having to look for diamonds. its just fucking random so you're just digging all over. it gets really tedious and boring. I wish the game gave some better environmental indications that diamond was around
Good thing my cheap laptop can run it rather well (A10 9600p, R7m 340)
Laying in bed and playing minecraft is maximum comfy
A E S T H E T I C
Guess you'll have to wait until some Sup Forumsirgin hosts one
Those servers are usually quite comfy
One of the few things I made in mc that was genuinely peaceful hang around at.
It was an island floating high above the ground meant for fighting a botania boss. I built it in a biome with a mint colored sky and turned on botania's garden of glass sky.
Felt like a quiet but magical place
autism
Where do you think we are?
Is Minecraft worth coming back to?
I just want to chill and build my peaceful house
Any mods worth seeing?
I think most mods are outdated now. They got sick of updating and being broken everytime Mojang wanted to update their broken game.
>want to play
>can't get the fucking launcher to work
>almost nothing shows up on Google about the problem I have
>works every once in a while
I'm going insane.
Not him but I'm new to this game, do texture packs break too?
Where do you go to get the texture packs?
...
just use multiMC
I don't want to use anything but the official stuff.
>its comfy
Reminds me of how I tried building Cathedral from SMT1
Gave up real quick, it's just too big
My old friends and I, who used to play minecraft with each other when we were kids, now play minecraft in the switch all in the same room. It's gay the world isn't on a server, but it's maximum comfort
This looks exactly like the house I built with my ex...
lmao why?
the official launcher sucks, multiMC is godtier
Every now and then I get the urge to play, and I remember that my Minecraft account got stolen and I think it's linked to an old ass email account I no longer have access to, and I'm too lazy to pirate it.
Because I don't care about mods.
the windows 10 version supposedly runs better, but it's windows 10...
Do you care about actually playing the fucking game? Because if you forgot, your problem with the default launcher is that you couldn't.
I'd rather try to fix it than just moving on to something else.
this is the best my game can look
I haven't launched Minecraft in years. Is there any new building material worth it?
Yeah, even the prebuilt structures get fucked because of the world generator.
Last time I played was in like 2013. Is it worth to try starting up a server, modder or unmodded, now? Is the mod scene even alive still?
Then enjoy never playing MC.
I hate that the river is fully cover in ice. Every snow biome has odd spots where it's just regular.
When are they gonna add seasons? I want to have a comfy house that experiences both rain and snow. And fall, and spring. Summer too.
Just use MMC you fucking cuck.
>tfw no Sup Forums bigass modded server where fully operational autism is not only a good idea but also heavily encouraged
You ever heard of 2b2t son?
No
Look up some pictures. Its the oldest running minecraft server started by Sup Forums. The map hasn't been changed or reset since 2010.
What mods are in it and how is the action?
>The map hasn't been changed or reset since 2010
How fucked up is the spawnzone?
Constantly morphing mass of water, lava and cobblestone last I checked.
The area surrounding spawn is pretty barren/pockmarked with tnt holes
One of the hardest parts about starting on 2b2t is lack of food/wood for a large area around spawn, unless a settled player decides to be nice and put some trees around spawn.
No mods, no rules, no staff, pure anarchy
I haven't been there recently, but the whole map 5000 blocks in all directions is a beautiful wasteland
...
>No mods
No interest then
Jesus christ
This is from 2014. Imagine what the rest of the mpa looks like.
As bad as it sounds, with over 64.000 individual players it was one of the biggest and greatest vanilla servres I ever played on
shit forgot image
dumb question, but is performance better if i set frame limit to 60, or frame limit to unlimited?
Set it to whatever your refresh rate is.
If it's set to unlimited and you're on a 60hz monitor, a 300fps frame rate isn't going to do anything except hammer your computer.
Kinda different in games where input lag matters, but it's fucking Minecraft.
Interestingly enough it still has a moderate amount of players. The current time is considered to be the "youtube era" where the server gets hit with waves of popular minecraft youtubers and their fans who want to check it out. After a month or so it dies down again and all the new builds get cobbled over. Fascinating
The modding scene is surprisingly mostly alive, but it's changed dramatically. Remember the old days of 1.4 dominated by buildcraft, when IC2 and GregTech were the host new thing? BC has been irrelevant for years. IC2 is apparently still updated, but almost every single mod out there has moved to RF energy, so IC2 is just sitting in its own niche and in most modpacks ends up being rather useless. Greg pissed off literally everyone else and went off to do his own thing, although I heard it's coming along nicely.
Applied Energistics was a big one too, then AE2 came along and fucked everything with the channels.
Perhaps the biggest single change was moving away from the retardo MJ generation with engines to Redstone Flux with proper conduits and generators.
But overall, old mods die, and new ones get made. The overall profile changes. Some changes are gradual; EnderIO has many quality of life improvements over thermal expansion, but the latter is still somewhat alive and still useful; or RFTools being nice for dimensions still hasn't fully pushed mystcraft out of general usage. Other changes shake things up more, like Draconic Evolution becoming mainstream in a bunch of modpacks and basically singlehandedly invalidating a lot of other end-game equipment (including the quantum/gravisuit).
Amazingly enough, Thaumcraft is still going strong, despite there being a whole lot more variety in the magic sector nowadays.
>Greg pissed off literally everyone else and went off to do his own thing, although I heard it's coming along nicely.
Do tell, i know about the scuffle with Tinker's Construct, anything else? And what is his new project?
>tfw RedPower is dead
Was my favorite mod too
>want to get back into minecraft
>start playing on normal survival world
>"i'm gonna get into this so hard, gonna really establish a base and collect materials and build stuff!"
>cut down some wood, make some weapons and tools
>start mining for cobblestone and coal/iron
>get bored and stop playing
Does this happen to anyone else? Happens to me every time
Is it actually worth trying to go and autism there? Is the banter/community interesting?
>I only play creative mode
So how did it even get like this? This can't be manmade, did someone hack the server or did it become corrupted or what?
I hated gregtech and I never could get around the fact that IC2 had this really complex energy system, but the reactors and nuclear stuff were cool as shit.
>redpower dead
Where am I gonna get my 1 block logic gates from now?
The cycle of farming, collecting materials, and building honestly gets old quick. Especially when you die from falling into lava or something and lose a ton of resources at one time. For survival I think it's more fun to just explore a lot; build a base, get it functional and efficient, pack up some stuff and move to another biome. But I have autism.
What gets boring for me is the endless mining and torch placing for diamonds. You don't really know where they are so it's a crapshoot.
I don't remember right now, I just recall trying to find a modern equivalent for Ultimate, failing, looking up gregtech, seeing it was still in active development. I found out that the mods was alive and well, it's just that nobody wants it in their modpack anymore.
>Where am I gonna get my 1 block logic gates from now?
There's a good few "advanced redstone" type mods, although I never really got into that.
Can you farm wheat or grow trees underground? If my memory serves at one point is was possible, but isn't anymore. Which is a shame because living entirely underground was fun, but constantly needing to resurface for food and wood was a pain.
You won't any oldfags or ancientfags left. Its all just youtubers and normies now.
The community has been mostly dead, but you can read up on the wiki how the timeline is developing
2b2t-anarchy-server.wikia.com
There have been 3 recorded instances of someone using a backdoor to cheat, but these have all been patched. What you see is actually manmade. Think about what a couple thousand griefers can do in a span of 7 years
It feels wrong to have everything in creative mode, but it also feels so boring to collect the materials in survival.
Here is how I would have done it: instead of the game being focused on survival, maybe it could have been focused on working for a construction company or building group, and having to go on expeditions to collect materials or trade with other towns or something. I mean, would that not make a lot more sense than the game we currently have?
Does Terraria have a creative mode like minecraft?
>Where am I gonna get my 1 block logic gates from now?
There is Project Red that has the gates, wire and pipes but it doesn't do them as RedPower did (so it doesn't have all those special blocks and stuff for placing and breaking stuff, buffering, etc)
There is also super circuit maker that allows you to make redstone stuff in small form
one of the goals was to be a truly open-world sandbox. Problem is a lack of direction gets boring.
For me it's when I get some diamonds.
>get idea for a great build in vanilla
>start up minecraft again
>build hole in mountain for shelter (I think I'm allergic to houses, I've literally only ever lived in caves)
>mine for like a couple of hours, get a bunch of iron and maybe 1-2 diamond veins
>get bored and leave
>not playing modded
Find diamonds within your first play session, build your way up to a quarry or whatever cool kids use these days (damn I miss BC quarries with their giant lag, nowadays there are at least 5 different mods for this), build an autismo super-generator that basically gives you creative mode, get bored and leave
has anyone recreated the house from hateful eight in minecraft? I feel like that would be somewhat doable, and pretty comfy with the right texture packs.
i should get back into minecraft
the only problem with is trying to fine a good world that has all the resources in it
BC mods were the best. Just watching an actual quarry beeing mined out behind your house is so satisfying.
Put it all in a AE2 system, sort out the dirt and cobblestone in an IC2 recycler to create matter that you can use to create items out of the fucking air
>Tfw have minecraft for atleast 2 years
>opened it once
Honestly minecraft creative on PC is extremely comfy (if you're a creative person)
Survival is pretty boring unless you're playing on console, because for some reason laying down with a controller with some bros just playing fucking minecraft on a console is pretty comfy.
>you will never go back
>tfw only know how to build boring functional commieblocks
...
Wow what's with the palace here
>not building 3x3x2 wooden cubes that just barely fit your stuff
>build a massive, comfy, beautiful castle including a throne room, a banquet hall, a kitchen, a blacksmith, a wizard's office, royal apartments, and a dungeon on PS4
>putting on the final touches
>power goes out while the game is saving
>lose everything
yeah it feels like that
>playing minecraft on PS4
Those are great for the first night
Then you obviously move down and build a fuckhuge base, right
What for
It's not like there's anyone else there
>first night
In the first night you should just dig a hole in the ground and make a roof to have a little pocket
>Not having a fucking no break
How poor can you even be
Even if he was on pc, if power goes out when it is saving, you are roast too.
Shame 2b2t is basically just Reddit now. It was comfy as fuck when it was just a couple of dozen fags from Sup Forums
that's not the point of the post, faggot
This place is Sup Forumseddit now
So there is no escape, what's the fucking fuzz
>a window
Oo-la-la someone's royalty.
>you now remember that very first active community you participated in
>You will never meet any of those guys ever again
