I don't even understand what half of these awards are supposed to mean.

my noms

>Best Battlefront 2 award

Yeah it's weird. I had Cuphead as labor of love first, cause of how that game is a fucking labor of love, but then I saw it's supposed to be for games that are updated post release.

>hunie pop
Good one.

Rimworld on choices matter
my negro

I don't get why you would put Oxygen not included as the 'let's all get along' award. There's combat in it. And torturing your minions is part of having a good base.

Cause I wanted ONI on a nomination, but ran out of space. I mean you can play the game completely peacefully anyway. There's no real hostile animals or shit in the game yet, but yeah it's totally possible that they will add something like that eventually.

>There's no real hostile animals or shit in the game yet
Wait what? What about those aliens that look like cucumbers?

Cucumbers? I think of all the animals in the game, the only one that can actually fight right now is the Hatch, but those guys are really chill if you just let them be. If you dig them out of the ground, they'll be pissed, but after a couple of seconds they have a big "FORGIVENESS" or something written over their head and don't care anymore. You can herd them together, feed them stones or dirt and let them produce coal for you. They're also a decor bonus actually.

Haven't played the game in several months. Things have changed quite a bit it seems.

...

Oh yeah, did you play before the agriculture update or what it was called? I didn't, so I dunno if there used to be a more aggressive enemy.
They released a ton of updates lately on a 6-4 week basis.
In the last months they added germs, oil, plastics, space suits, logic gate automation shit.

Oh shit I forgot about Sonic Mania.

Why would you waste the write-in on something that's obviously not going to be picked?

That's crazy. I remember the largest problem being a lack of filtering materials in the end game. People were making bases with clones that peed themselves, then gathered that urine and purified it by evaporation.

...

You have a better idea, mate? Tell me.
I'm hoping a lot of people pick Battlefront 2 there though.

What's even the point of these awards?
Do I get free video games?

you get steam exp

Oh shit I'll get right on that.

Haha, oh yeah I heard of people doing that. Colonies run by urine, vomit and tears. You don't need to anymore though cause there are geysers on the map that produce clean water or other gases by now.
Using vomit and urine is now slightly dangerous cause that shit is filled with germs, you can kill those by heating up the water though.
Also in the last update they added an ore crusher and a metal refinery. You can use the crusher to turn any rocks or dirt into sand really easily, so you have a fuckton of filtering material now potentially.

Do people actually care about steam xp?

heres my noms

i havent played new vegas yet

I actually hadn't thought of that.

Well I mean the original Battlefront II is the only Battlefront II that's even on Steam. There wouldn't be any vote if the category were actually chosen.

>undertale
>doesn't involve combat or conflict
>inb4 pacifist run

Aw shit man, I love Silent Storm.
Did you ever look into Hammer & Sickle? Pretty obscure sequel set in the cold war. Can download it here:
old-games.com/download/9586/hammer-sickle

...

It could be "Better Than The Remake" instead

perhaps so, but still when i think about the words "lets get along" unertale is what comes to mind, even if it does feature combat, tough violence is optional

i still need to finish silent storm Someday™

i dont even remember when was the last time i played, tough i got fairly far after 45 hours, dealing with panzerkleins, load of bull

>"the fear and loathing in Las Vegas" of videogames
is this a new meme?

regardless of what we put in, chances are it's not going to be picked

I heard SS Sentinels is a better game, but I haven't tried it myself yet. I finished normal SS though. Yeah Panzerkleins are annoying. You're just gonna have to be okay with the game turning into Panzerklein combat in the end and only do the switzerland secret base mission (or whatever it was), after every other possible mission, so you're ready for it.

Oyxgen is a really cool idea. I just hope that the end product manages to respect conservation of energy (and mass).

I thought about putting Undertale as the getting along award. But since genocide run is a thing I decided against it.

>stardew valley
>let's get along
There's combat in there, user...

They have too much awards which make them not so important

The real question is, should you nominate only games that you don't own and want to buy in hopes for them to be on a bigger sale?

Why uplink for suspension of disbelief? Everything in it seems to make sense in the context of the game so far.

...

...

...

I'm voting for the badge.

This voting meme is just for the loudest leddit user to make a list and make all the drones vote for that as well.

Award is for out of context. I dunno what he meant with it either though.

Hey, I got a fucking problem here.
I got friend that uses this program Idle Master, if you don't know about this, is a program who simulates run the game without playing it, i got a fucking bunch of games and i can't play because of my garbage PC. So, anyone knows if this is even legal?
I read a bunch of foroums and the people say they got no van until now and this people was using the program for years.
If you can answer this, i'll give you a bj
And yes my english if fucking patetic.

I was trying really hard to come up with something. I love Uplink and am quite content with nominating it. Uplink is commonly regarded among hacker games as being completely unrealistic. But I like the whole 90's hacking atmosphere of fake GUI's and stuff.

...

>le undertale award

Here are the ones I actually care about.
All the other pick I just went with whatever kind of fit.

I've hit a mental block so tell me what to vote for, niggas.

>Soul of Vitruvius
Just put a game where there are pretty character models.

...

I decided on VtM:B right after posting that pic because that game's facial animations are damn good even after all these years.

>tfw i'm probably the only person to nominate Far Cry 2 for anything

>nobody is voting cuphead as labor of love

wtf is wrong with this world.

Maybe The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd for labor of love.

The story of the translation team(s) and what they had to go thought is really interesting.

Labor of love award is for games that have tons of post-release support, read the description. I was pretty torn between nominating it for Vitruvius or Even Better Than I Expected, ended up picking the latter.

well fuck. touche.

Steam-awards.
A way to make a satire out of all those GOTY-awards and other end of the year-award-shows.

Somehow people actually participate and stress out about their picks.

Just get any early access RPG-maker hentai game and put it into every choice.

How did /v turn into this?

...

You know, if we all change the "____" award to the same thing I think we might have a better chance of getting it to happen. maybe not the same game, but the same name of the category.

Then again, that would mean we would need to organize and that sounds like too much work.

>Far Cry
Pt. 2

Also
> The “Whoooaaaaaaa, Dude! 2.0” Award
Life is Strange S1

>The “Even Better Than I Expected” Award
Battle of Empires: 1914-1918

It also literally does not matter in any meaningful way I can think of, so why bother?

r8

>New Vegas
>XCOM 2
>Silent Storm

I nominated the new Hitman as
"Best revamp of a dying series (or something more polite sounding)"

Atleast it wasn't the Dark Souls of videogames.

If you didn't put 2B on Soul if Vitruvius, go fix it

...

I r8 8.8/8, m8

>LBA2
Great taste. Even though I never beat it myself.

I voted in that one for One Way Heroics.

See:

I guess I did it anyway.
R8

>no one nominated Bannerlord yet

I'd rather not be reminded of it.

>Lovely planet

>Little big adventure

>My summer car

Fuck, I want to nominate all of these, but I'm out of slots.

I've used idlemaster and no vac ban. You're fine.

Labor of love is support after the game is released, not when the game was in development.
