Actually it's a legitimately great game that trolls try to hate on because of the games artstyle even though they know nothing else about it.

Irisu. Played it on hard, and she made me actively suicidal. I beat her, but fuck me, man.
This game really surprised me though, i pirated it expecting some garbage fapbait with shit gameplay and ended up finding my goty for that year, buying the complete edition. Music, animations, art, fights and controls were all fantastic, and felt genuinely challenging.

It's actually good.
I only got it because I thought it would be a cute weeb game to play since there was no other games I wanted at the time. But I was positively suprised and it turned out to be my goty.

It's a pretty good side scroller if you like that kind of game. Watch some gameplay and you'll know if you like it. It is filled to the brim with the most basic anime tropes ever but if you hate them that much you can just skip past it. The story isn't very important and its made very easy to skip all the dialogue.

Imagine if the game was seen the wrong way by customs? It's just not worth the hassle.
