AHiT uses Unreal 3, whereas Nintendo only focused on compatibility with Unreal 4. Since Unreal4 differs quite a bit from Unreal 3, the devs would have essentially recreate the game in Unreal 4. It would be expensive and time-consuming, to the point that the potential sales of the Switch port likely wouldn't offset the cost of making it.

I’m pretty sure most Switch owners traded or sold their PS4/Xbox One’s for the Switch so they expect most of these new games for it.

Why don't you just get it on PC? There are mods.
