MS needs to step up their exclusives game big time. The number of interesting games it has that aren't on PS4 or PC is tiny. Compare that to SIE who buy permanent exclusivity for the entire output of whole studios. Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream, in house teams like Bend. If I were in the market for a console right now, I'd be insane to pick the xbox.

Games really look nicer and "cleaner", even on my old 1080p screen. I hope more games do what GoW4 did and make an options for improved framerate.

No 360 one's as of yet. I only have a couple supersampled pics that I grabbed for other Xbox threads. This is Halo 5 supersampled.

For comparison i took pic related on my older launch xbone.

Here's one of Halo 3 after the update not too long ago. I can vouch for this one as I've messed around on it and it's a lot better. Everything is just that much more detailed and pleasing to the eye.

I didn't find the campaign all that impressive, but I just had to go back and play it after the update. Whether you go with the supersampled for your 1080p tv or the frame rate mode, the game looks quite impressive.

Here's one of Forza 5 that's been floating around that's been supersampled. I still think Forza 5 is the best one since 4, personally. It's a little bare bones but the driving is just more enjoyable for some reason. Plus it still looks great. I'm going to try some Ryse, SSOD and some 360 games tonight. I can say that both Perfect Dark games look a lot nicer now but Viva didn't really change. Left 4 Dead 2 doesn't look to have been effected on the new Xbox as there's still lots of jaggies.

Do any games even use the gimmicks on this thing? Seems like a lot of wasted landscape. Those trigger buttons are always getting hung up on whatever I lay it down on and the charge cord is super short. Not to mention it has a closed off battery.

i wanted that tcl because it has like 14ms input lag in gaming mode and i like to play stuff like halo and gears online. the bravia is a no go because it has shit input lag and is like double the price of the tcl. i'm hoping more affordable 4k hdr10 monitors come out soon which are cheaper due to being smaller in size than the big 55" bravias and whatnot.

All the Yakuza games use the lights and touch pad, Gravity Rush 2 uses the touch pad for gestures, Tearaway uses the touch pad gestures, but for the most part gyroscope and the touch pad are left unused outside of the touch pad being used as a select button or multiple select buttons.

If the Xbox had just some exclusives other than Forza I cared about, I'd definitely get one. It's far stronger than the PS4 Pro and usually plays the games at either higher res or better fps with better textures and effects if not all of those.

Yes, Xbox One X. If you want a more specific answer, this was taken in "Visuals" mode, which improves graphical details but locks campaign to 30 FPS.
And these , were taken in "Performance" mode which locks the campaign at 60 FPS but keeps graphics around standard Xbone level.
