Why do blacks play as falco in melee and smash 4? What's the reasoning behind the storyline?
Why do blacks play as falco in melee and smash 4? What's the reasoning behind the storyline?
>dabbing in official art
you tell me
because his jab combo legit let's you give people those hands.
*DABS*
Gangster laser +he's fucking braindead to play at low level
...
His short-hop is a 5 frame window instead of a 3 frame on Fox.
He can KO better than Fox because he does more damage and has more reach on most of his abilities.
He's the casual version of Fox (the objectively best character). People who want to do well in the game but lack the dedication to play Fox just pick Falco instead.
Falco also has a longer techroll. Fox is clearly better, but Falco has his own benefits.
Cause its a chicken
I play him over Fox because I prefer the flashier combos
and because my hands aren't fast enough to play Fox well
Just look at how he holds his laser.
Do you think Falco enjoy getting blacked?
>nigs always play Falco
>despite this, there are no black top Falco players
Really makes you think.
Fox KO's much better than Falco. Try playing floaties with Falco and then with Fox, and let me know how well he KOs compared to Fox.
>Dashizwiz
>Mango
Nobody plays Falco in Smash 4.
>Mango is black
>Shiz is a top player
>Mango is black
>Mango
Just because he acts like one doesn't mean he is actually black.
I'll have you know I am a professional smash bros player and am white, and love Falco.
Dat you PPMD?
Falco players are like a mountain
All black but it's white at the top
No this is Von.
Homemadewaffles is like 80th using primarily Falco.
You can literally just say there are no top Falco players.
With PPMD gone and Westballz playing like complete ass lately, Falco is basically a dead character. Mango brings the Falco out sometimes but it usually does worse than his Fox.
...
We like to self insert as Falco.
Nigs are always looking for the easy route.
At low and even mid level Melee Falco is easy and strong to the point of being nearly broken, and 99% of players are low and mid level and will never reach high level. This allows them to just play EZmode with autocombos, a spike, and winning neutral by default by shorthopping a laser. Falco at the level most people are ever going to play at is free neutral, free combos, free pressure.
At top level once players have consistent powershielding, punishes on fastfallers, and edgeguard coverage, Falco then becomes more punishing to play.
I want to suckle those feathery man titties and push my gaping pussy into his beak
better be pussy(male)
>consistent powershielding
This shit is definitely not true. You see a top level set vs a Falco and you can usually count the powershields on a single hand. Having to know how to powershield vs Falco is meme advice that keeps getting spread for whatever reason.
Yeah totally, what do you take me for, a fag?
>holds the gun sideways
I dunno what you're considering top level but mango almost doesn't even shoot lasers in neutral against other top players, especially Armada and Plup, because he just expects them to be powershielded. Westballz doesn't even shoot them at all ever.
>Mango is not a black man
>They don't know
Falco and black guys both have fat asses. It's the kinship.
>no falco bf to sit on your face
Maybe if Sonicfox played.
Please don't stop posting anytime
Because he's boring.
>but mango almost doesn't even shoot lasers in neutral against other top players
What in the fuck are you on about dude?
Mango... not shooting lasers... in neutral?
Mangos never not shooting a laser. He's consistently ragged on as a hypocrite because of his ledge camp lasers when he's bitching about hbox playing lame.
We're talking about Falco, nigger, not Fox. Although funny enough Hbox has started powershielding Fox lasers.
why do people who unironically play smash think they matter?
>We're talking about Falco, nigger, not Fox.
I'm talking about both, ya cunt.
Checking several major tournament runs Mango went falco is showing me he definitely regularly lasers with falco. Namely genesis 4, tbh4, royal flush... check the videos dude.
>TBH4
You know when TBH4 was?
First Royal Flush video of Mango's Falco I find is The Moon and it proves my point. He uses lasers during combo and pressure, not in neutral, because he knows they're not safe.
>phoneposting
Okay, I guess you're right since tbh4 was a while ago, and that for some reason discounts that he very often uses lasers in neutral when playing falco...
>the meta nearly four years ago is relevant today
Wow i guess we should look at all the things players did back then and no longer do and take those to be indicative of their current behaviour even though they no longer do them right?
If you seriously think you're so fucking good that studying Mango's play from tbh4 would be a detriment to your skill, then that's absolutely hilarious.
Have you tried reading the thread? Have you tried reading the content that's lead up to here? Are you so genuinely retarded that you thought anyone here was talking about personal skill? Are you so illiterate that you can't even read the posts above to see that the topic of conversation was Falco meta at top level versus Falco meta at mid and low level? Are you actually this stupid, or just pretending?
At the very least back up the logic behind this one. So you're saying that the meta has changed so drastically since tbh4, that falco lasers in neutral at high levels are now pointless? Last time I checked, powershieldings been known/around for fucking ever.
You can't just say the meta is different, what's different? Because I'm failing to see what meta developed since tbh4 that makes lasers in neutral no longer viable...
And you're basing this off of Mango, who doesn't even main falco, and Westballz, who has a very specific and different falco playstyle?
PPMD lasers(ed) in neutral often. But I guess that's just too long ago in the smash stone ages for it to be relevant to such an experienced player such as yourself.
You're not explaining yourself or your context well enough and youre angry at the only person on this site that seems to give any shit about what your gross little fingers are typing, so calm down dude
>At the very least back up the logic behind this one.
>Because I'm failing to see what meta developed since tbh4 that makes lasers in neutral no longer viable...
That information is literally in this very thread and has already been explained. Why exactly are you people so staunchly averse to reading more than just the latest post in a thread and seemingly incapable of clicking back up a post chain to see the context of discussion and what's already been explicated?
>PPMD
Doesn't play anymore.
There's nothing more to be explained, the thread is the context. If you read previous posts instead of jumping in without finding out the context for posts like a retard there'd be no problem.
Don't please, I already fapped
Nngh gotta go to the bird thread
You replied to the OP and said that at top level consistent powershielding makes Falco easier to punish, assuming you mean in regards to the neutral lasers obviously. That is our whole context here. You replied to the OP, no one else, so what other info in this thread am I supposed to be attributing to your argument?
I'm saying that at top level, Falco lasers in neutral are still viable, still done successfully, and they aren't prevented by consistent powershielding as often as you claim.
Mango STILL lasers in neutral with Falco. I dont know why you latched onto tbh4 instead of addressing either of the other two tournaments I mentioned where he lasers in neutral very often, that took place WITHIN this very year...
>You replied to the OP, no one else
At the top of each post on Sup Forums.org you'll see the name field (usually Anonymous), the date, the time, and the post number. Beside the post number you will sometimes see other numbers in blue and underlined. These are the replies to that post. If you go up to the post you just mentioned you'll see that there are replies to it. In turn, those posts have replies as well. Now I know that those replies all have the name "Anonymous", however it's reasonable to assume that at least one of those replies may be a reply from the person that that poster had quoted.
> I dont know why you latched onto tbh4 instead of addressing either of the other two tournaments I mentioned
Are you just deliberately not reading posts to annoy me now? Go back up and read.
