In my experience only soyboys like this game. I played till you fight the fish girl at the waterfall and hated it the whole way through. I was told to keep playing it and it'll get better by my faggot friend. I said "fuck it" and went back to playing actually good games instead. My soyboy friend was pretty upset lol. Its a good game. Pay absolutely no attention to the dumpster fire that is the fanbase though. Also you're going to want to go in blind. Its best if you know nothing.

You can do so much worse with $5 if you end up not liking it and it's a short as fuck game anyway. I loved it personally.

It's a nice game, hopefully you avoided spoilers.
Don't worry about trying to play it 'correctly' on your first run as it's specifically set-up to be played at least twice.
Also the ruins are the dullest part of the game so if, like me, you were bored to tears just power through it till you leave them.

Undertale seems good until you play the games it "homages"
The timed hits are shit compared to mario rpgs
The talk system is shallow compared to SMT
The bullet patterns are baby-tier compared to any shoot em up

The characters are horribly written. The gameplay and style is the strengths of the game.

You have to play it completely blind to get the most out of it. If you know about the details beforehand, you're not going to enjoy it nearly as much. It still has amazing music either way, though.
