How does one avoid getting nauseous while playing this game? I just started playing a few hours ago and already need to take a break because I was about to puke. If I'm standing still and looking around it's fine, but after walking around for like 20 seconds straight I get dizzy. What do.
How does one avoid getting nauseous while playing this game...
you know the answer
Git gud.
by buying the Switch version instead
have you tried not falling for the "VR" meme?
That looks like cancer. I was kind of interested in it until actually seeing gameplay footage.
jesus fuck is this actually real lmao
You don't. This is something you can't get use to, your body can't compensate, your brain says you are moving, your body says it's not. This dissonance can't be overcome with will power or 'getting use to it'. Everyone is effected by this, some are just lucky because it's so miniscule it takes hours before they feel bad.
Any opinions on the switch version?
Bullshit
You get used to it like any other motion sickness, some people are more prone than others, especially kids
Melee sucks dick, magic and archery is top notch though
Frame rate is solid 30 unless you're going crazy with magic, three hours battery life when undocked, motion controls for archery are actually more fun than I anticipated.
Overall, pretty good port and it's comfykino laying in bed playing. If portable Skyrim sounds like something you'd like then I would say it's worth it.
its more portable than having a PS4 and TV on a train. no mods is a bummer though, the other console versions get mods that disable trophies if you use them and the one console to not get mods doesn't even have trophies
does VR make skyrim a good game?
Is this your first time in VR? You'll start feeling better after a while. The first time I used it, even doing shit sitting down made me nauseous, but it fades with experience and eventually your body will be so fully adjusted you can get completely immersed and lose track of the world around you if you're in the right game
You're completely retarded.
give webms of magic and archery then
yes.
So do VRfags call the real world meatspace or flatspace?
I unironically got motion sickness playing no mans sky so VR would fuck me up
How does one ironically get motion sickness?
That's just how the game is. And it gets worse if you try the VR.
I live outside like a gypsies, I'm so going to buy this fucking console next month holy shit
Take brakes and don’t try fight through the sickness. You might get use to it after some time.
drum solo
QUALITY
>he fell for the VR meme
Strangely enough, pointing a fan at myself while I play got rid of my motion sickness. Not sure why.
>How does one avoid getting nauseous while playing this game?
You need to slap yourself in the balls with leather belt every 7 minutes.
>TFW my PSVR is always tilted right
can't believe there's still no fucking fix for this stupid issue
Try more soy in your diet.
This.
I dont know i play vr on the toilet and set up an alcohol straw and food nearby
You must be poor vr is actually really cool.Hold the fucking touchpad down you li
No, retard, it's an issue that goes past that. "recalibrating" only moves the screen to wherever you're facing, not actually centering it.
Fuck if I know man. Hasn't bothered me any.
>try Waltz of the Wizard
>turn on "normal" movement
>one hour later i'm sitting here struggling not to throw up
it gets better, right?
>How does one avoid getting nauseous while playing this game?
By not being a genelet.
Holy fuck I haven't laughed this hard in weeks.
Chew gum while you play, seriously.
kill yourself because you are genetically disposed to be motion sick and it will never get better
To reduce nausea!
1. Play with a decently powerful fan aimed at your body to help trick the body into experience movement more
2. Take ginger supplements, it as long been used to combat seasickness (which is what VR sickness is)
3. Dramamine or other anti-motion sickness medication when you are getting your VR legs helps for the break in period.
4. Chewing gum helps some people
5. Seabands applies pressure on a point in your wrist that helps with motion sickness with a lot of people too
6. Use the motion controllers instead of the gamepad. It takes some getting used to but being more immersive it aids in reducing the nausea of the experience for some
7. Here is the big one, a small percentage of the people will NEVER get used to VR naturally. You might be part of that population. It is pretty damn rare though. Like how some never stop being seasick
If you start to get mildly nauseous stop playing immediately. If you push through you will be sick for the bulk of the day when you stop playing.
A good tactic is to play stationary simply games, then go to cockpit games, then go to free form movement games after you get used to those.
That said, when you get into VR and go through the break-in period, it is a real bitch to enjoy gaming in any other way again.
what ya get for playing vr tardo
thanks fampai
2d games are called pancake gaming
>If you push through you will be sick for the bulk of the day when you stop playing.
yeah, can confirm, going through this right now and it's fucking awful
