Have video games helped you with your social-ineptitude Sup Forums?

have video games helped you with your social-ineptitude Sup Forums?

I read that as "video games encourage Socialism" for a second and was about to get miffed

Can't you go one fucking day without complaining about leftists Sup Forums

They used to, now I'm too autistic to Socialize in online games. I only have conversations on Sup Forums

>video games helped you with your social-ineptitude
Maybe they're helping but it's all being undone by using Sup Forums.

I've played soooo many vidya, am I famous now?
When do I get my buckets of money?

Nope. I always play with my mic on mute and ignore anyone who says anything that isn't related to the game objective.

No my only social interaction is posting on Sup Forums and saying "yes please" and "no thank you" to the cashier when he/she asks if I want a bag and the receipt respectively.

Fuck no, I mostly play single player games. People are a headache.

is it just me, or are total normies easier to socialize with than redditors?

>talking to cashiers
GET OUT NORMIE REEEEE

I don't look them in the eye and always make sure to mumble into my coat though

Alright but that's still pushing it.

>he doesn't flirt with the teenage cuties bagging his groceries

Loser

Yes. Normies are generally pleasant, nice and not really out to impress. Redditors are the complete opposite and always obnoxious.

Most of us also act the same way.

Cashier here. You don't have to talk but at least pretend to pay a modicum of attention when we're ringing you up. It's all I ask, nothing's worse than being treated like a speed bump in someone else's day.

You should know that my soul screams out for a human connection, but I am too addicted to carbohydrates, video games/streams, wallowing in depression and high speed 4k internet porn to not feel ashamed of myself, thus I hide and retreat as quickly as possible (so I can go home and waste my precious life essence comfortably and without perceived judgement)

excuses: the post

why are people here so obssesed with reddit, like what did reddit do to this site that it cant go 5 posts without mentioning it

carbs are your friend, you will always have carbs

kek no. I wouldn't do that to them.
>nothing's worse than being treated like a speed bump in someone else's day
Damn.
I gotta say I really hate having to do small talk and maybe I come off as rude but I don't mean to be.
If I were a cashier I'd 100% try to zone out of it and do it on autopilot and not pay attention to anyone and get annoyed if anyone tried to make contact with me kek.
I know this isn't how real people work though.

i think that for most people it's a fitting in thing (considering that WELL over half of this board/site are redditors) but in my experience IRL redditors have been the most grating people I have ever met. IRL Sup Forumsermin are never seen because most of them are shut-ins which is the difference

this is all because hitler lost

i never really met any "redditors" the most i did was just meeting people that also used reddit but only as some time killer or meme source, they were normal teens
tho anyone who is a self proclaimed "redditor" is probably gonna be annoying and unfunny

I'm about to become a wizard, so no.

spotted the redditor

>so many redditors ITT
REEEEEE

I find it difficult to socialize with anyone except for very few select people who get me. Hell, if I met up with my old bestfriend from high school right now, we'd probably be extremely silent to each other.

Considering the article only surveyed people at events, it's more likely that those people are more social and outgoing than the autistic neckboar on Sup Forums as evidenced by posts itt.

I keep interaction to a minimum out of respect. I'm only gonna be there like a minute so I figure you don't need my life story, doubly so if there are people waiting behind me. Polite efficiency is the goal. If there's nobody waiting and a cashier prompts convo I'll chat if not in a hurry, otherwise I assume you have better things to do and move along.
