The Switch is powering Nintendo toward a $1 billion profit

Why did PSP vita never sold as well as 3DS? How did a underpowered console like Nintendo switch became more profitable than Xbox one in less than a year? money.cnn.com/2017/10/30/technology/nintendo-switch-sales-earnings/index.html

Proprietary hardware and stuff.
Also, shit support from Sony.

Sony games are geared towards adults
Nintendo makes kid games
Handhelds are a kids system

It doesnt take much effort to figure out why one was successful and the other not

Fanboys

>Sony games are geared towards adults

But why and how Nintendo switched killed xbone already?

Because Vita had no games while the Switch's first year already destroys the Vita's entire lifetime game library.

Switch is also revolutionary because it's the first time someone made a gaming console portable and the fact that such a device exists is why everyone wants to own one due to this concept never been done before.

Nintendo innovated by creating something impossible and that's why they're making money because of it, it's as simple as that of how creative and genius the people at Nintendo are.

Because XBone has little going for it as well.
Switch had well known names coming to it from the start.

You do the math.

Shouldn't it be John Sand, not Summer?

It's like people buy systems for the games that are on them not the power of said system.

>Shouldn't it be John Sand, not Summer?
It’s a pun about seasons

>Sony games are geared towards adults
If by adults you mean 2D pantsu chasing creeps then you are correct.

>If by adults you mean 2D pantsu chasing creeps then you are correct.
Switch is taking that market away from Sony. Pantsu creeping games are coming out on switch and steam now

...

>It’s a pun about seasons
>Snow
>Season
In that way it should be Jon Winter and Jon Summer

but sand is the bastard surname taken by those born in Essos

It just looks more fun desu. Portable console looks pretty cool power or no power.

but snow isn't a season.

It's for Dornish bastards, idiot.

>Sony games are
>Sony games
>games
You mean Movies?

...

But the PSP outsold the 3DS.

>Switch is the big driver for now and the next 3-5 years
Nintendomnation. Holy shit the fan bois were right.

Kek this image is hilarious.

sony fanbase has gone from weeb to nu-male over the last few years, still hilarious though

Snow related to winter

>sony fanbase has gone from weeb to nu-male over the last few years, still hilarious though
What’s the difference?

So what is a switch exactly? An underpowered console? A bulky but superior handheld? Whichever suits my argument at the time?

anime objectifies women and gays so its a requirement for soyboys to loudly hate it.

Probably should have been John Sun.

>Why did PSP vita never sold as well as 3DS?
???
why did wii u not sell as well as PS4?
why did switch not sell as well as PS4?

weeb
>uguu

numale
>tfw strong female character of color
>tfw emotional story featuring a child, told in third person with action setpieces and QTEs out the butt

>So what is a switch exactly? An underpowered console? A bulky but superior handheld? Whichever suits my argument at the time?
It seems it's whatever suits YOUR argument at the time.

Hybrid console I guess.

Nintendo tends to get a free pass on past accomplishments way more often than Sony does.

Both.

Why did the n64 not sell as well as ps1
Why did the GameCube not sell as well as ps2

No CD player.
No DVD player.
>why didn't the PS3 outsell the Wii?
Because nobody cared about Bluray.

Vita didnt have a lot of games but i have no idea why PSP sold like shit. It was fucking great, everything that a portable console should be, good hardware, good vidya.

>but i have no idea why PSP sold like shit

It sold 80 million you fucking stoner, in what world is shit?

Still a humongous failure of a handheld like the Vita compared to the competition.

PSP has no games either, only delusional sony fanboys today defend the PSP's shitty library because their moms bought them that instead of the far superior DS.

>how did Nintendo do it
they're earning at a huge profit because the Switch is weak as shit and cheap to make

it's only failure was the lack of hdmi out and the lack of support for third party memory cards

>failure
>when it was their first handheld and the competition was fucking Nintendo

It's been estimated to cost around $257 to manufacture by a professional teardown firm.

The PSP is the second most sold handheld console of all time. What universe are you from?

Yeah and they still failed because the PSP was absolutely garbage, had no games, shitty memory cards and had nothing but weebshit just like the Vita.

How exactly are you defining "failure" here?

PSP sold great. It's problems came LATER, with bad battery and people finding out that UMDs were a horrible idea and ate the battery even more. The later half of the PSPs life was just filled with shit games that followed into the Vita, which contributed to it's downfall.

Isn’t Xbox one x a disappointment?
