Retard one, by the way you write.
glad you're here
you just posted a good one in your pic
That's exactly what he's saying, retard
>reading comprehension
I have the hyperx cloud II, but the bass is kinda shallow. Is it any better on this one
i have the hyper x cloud 1 and the bass is insane. your default EQ is probably fucked up
lmao
>$100 for headphones
>they do the same (for the intended purpose: playing video games) as $20 headphones
Why pay the extra $80? Is it the retard tax?
>I don't understand sound quality
youtube.com
Cloud Alphas are probably the only headphones without shit sound that don't cost and arm and a leg.
Either you're using the shitty usb adapter or your sound card is trash.
>i have the hyper x cloud 1
Me too and I love it
>people who have shit soundcards or mobos blame the headset
every fucking time
I have an Asus z 170 "pro gaming" motherboard and the soundcard is shit. There's this constant high hiss sound that disappears when I use the cloud 2 sound card
fun fact: the hyper x cloud 1's were a rebrand of another headset which was originally a beyerdynamic dt770 competitor for a cheaper price and it was only slightly worse overall but for like $30-50 less.
My friend and I both own these ,and his voice is crispy fucking clean, as is mine.
>being an audiophile
What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence
Fuck off retard.
>not knowing TekSyn
kys
forget this meme premium motherboard audio shit. my z97 from msi had all these apparently fancy capacitors, isolated wiring and i could even power it separately using a molex connector but it did nothing for it at all. it was shit so on black friday a couple years ago i picked up a creative soundblaster z for cheap and the difference is like night and day. the bass is insane and even the virtual surround software actually works well and i'm not even memeing.
yeah they're damn good for the price
What's a good glasses friendly headset?
HyperX
They're comfortable as fuck, and they're designated Clouds for a reason.
Seems like I stroke a nerve.
>Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur
Better dedicate your life to something better pretending to hear differences depending on wire material and other shit.
Cloud II and Cloud Alpha both have memory foam, and they're comfortable as hell. More comfortable than my MATH-M50x headphones during long hours of usage.
>stroke
Struck, you illiterate tryhard.
>out of nowhere one of my cats starts chewing on stuff at night
>my cat has destroyed two of these.
holy shit am I mad, i went and bought a shitty pair of headphones, while I wait for cord protectors.
I think the point was to show that even audiophiles approve, which I'm kinda blown away by.
>trying to sound pretentious as possible
>can't even into grammar or spelling
b8d
The Clouds are the only good headsets out there for the money. Comfortable, well built, great sound, decent mics, long lasting.
I've seen people shilling these a lot. What makes them better than other headsets?
I use the Cloud 1 and is super comfortable with glasses.
They're basically the successor to Cloud II. I hear the sound quality is better, and mic quality slightly better. They're really comfortable. I've tried them on at a friend's house ,and they can be bent every which way and still make it out okay.
>What makes them better than other headsets?
They're actually good, and you're not paying through your teeth. I have Stingers and they're great.
>I have never heard of Sennheiser
amazon.com
Beyerdynamic MMX300.
Come at me poorfags
>that price
>mic doesn't even have a pop-filter
amazon.com
Just wanna point out these are nowhere near as comfortable or even sturdy as Cloud II's.
Is the mic detachable?
You don't even need to go that far.
In all honestly the Cloud IIs are more worth it, and they're much cheaper.
Just want to point out that they are tremendously comfortable and have an advantage in warmer conditions due to the more breathable design and materials. And also that the headphone and mic quality is much better.
amazon.com
3440 people disagree.
I've actually owned both, and I was just happier with the Cloud II's which I got for $50 less. There isn't a single person on the planet who doesn't know Sennheiser.
No they don't. 3440 people reviewed the HyperX Cloud II on Amazon.
>GAMING ACCESSORIES HOLY FUCK
Anyone who really thinks it makes a difference should shoot themselves.
>Buying headsets
I almost puked from how hard i just fucking laughed.
I thought this board was for people 18+? Not a bunch of retarded children.
These were discontinued in my country after I lost sound on the left side. I went for Alpha Cloud II's and I was actually blown away that Kingston came out of fucking nowhere. I usually always go Senn or AT.
samefag with a pass
I just don't use using studio headphones for vidya. Sound stages just never work that well for vidya. With Cloud Alphas I can actualyl gauge the distance of gunshots etc.
I got OP's headset, and they were cheaper than my daily use headphones + zalman mic.
Get over yourself, shitposter.
Thinks what? Your sentence isn't even complete you fucking moron. The reason people love the Clouds is because you're getting decent quality for the price unlike every other headset out there.
Sorry you bought a sub par product with mommy's hard earned money. Doesn't mean I'm a shitposter because you're uninformed children.
>sub par product
What are you basing this off, Mr. Inferiority Complex?
>sub par product
It's actually better than any headphone out there now in the same price range.
Cost vs frequency response accuracy
Cost vs comfort
Cost vs build quality
But keep shitposting with anime pictures that'll really show me
>audiophile talking about snake oil
The Cloud Alpha shits on most headphones in all those categories though, you ignorant child.
>Decide to buy a higher quality headset
>Buy Cloud II's
>Enjoy them
>Suddenly lose left headphone, then right
>RMA them back to where i brought them for
>Get a replacement
>Enjoy them the same
>Happens again
>Had enough, just buy a Logitech G430 and have enough in store credit to buy a second pair
>USB Sound Card is completely bugged, decides to randomly flip audio channels for no reason
>Anything that requires positional hearing completely unplayable
>Cant buy another pair since its a driver issue
Im in Audio hell
I ain't paying £100+ for fucking headphones what the fuck
Frog off poorfrog
>frequency response accuracy
Actually has really impressive performance for the price.
see >comfort
They're extremely comfortable, and the memory foam makes it so you can wear it four hours without feeling uncomfortable - even with glasses.
>build quality
They have excellent build quality for the price. They're aluminum and can be bent all over the place, and still retain their form.
That sucks. I've had mine for 1.5 years with no issue. These things happen though. I have a friend who's Audio Technicas keep dying on a yearly basis for no reason. I know he looks after his things.
>what is desktop mic
You know how you become poor? Making bad financial investments
Stingers aren't even bad. The mic quality is surprisingly decent.
Something only wannabe streamers use, that also impedes your keyboard accessibility.
I tried it with an amp, it was garbage compared to the sennheiser g4me zero (though the g4me zero need some kind of dac/amp to not sound flat, I'm using an old kenwood amp I got and it's perfect)
>headset that costs $100 more is better
wow
God I hate audiophiles. Just look at how smug and unlikable this cunt is. So fucking punchable.
$150 more where I'm from, but yeah. That guy is retarded.
Spending 100 dollars won't make you poor you fucking retarded asshole
If you made even a modicum of money you can buy 400+ dollar headphones no problem.
You can also buy some older good headphones for almost nothing.
>pic and filename related
Or you can spend your hard earned money on something good
If you're buying a gaming headset you're a retarded. Buy real headphones, then some shitty clip-on mic if you need one. Done. Cheaper, better quality.
So I bought these $30 headphones, and there's an audio jack that goes into a plastic bit that then goes into my tower. However, if the middle jack is not in the exact perfect position, the microphone creates a lot of static that goes through my input and all my friends can hear over discord, and they can't hear me.
I'm pretty sure it's the audio card because my friend owns the same headset. Anyone else know about this happening?
Why not buy a good headset at a decent price with good sound and a good mic you don't need to clip on?
>wahh stop buying headsets actually made for playing vidya instead of studio mics made for monitoring levels for music production
Because non-headsets are much better quality and cost the same or less with a clip-on mic or a mic you put on your desk than a gaming headset.
>have Cloud Alphas plugged into PC permanently for garmen
>ATH-M50x for general every day use
feels good man
They're made to be bought by gullible retards who want epic leds on their headset, not "for vidya".
Maybe lurk the thread, and you'll see that's not true. I used to believe this too, but then I got a pair of Cloud II's and they're fucking insanely good and cheaper than most headsets.
It's 2017 and people still buy headsets instead of headphones and a mic. People think they are getting a sweet deal since it is one thing doing the job of two when it is really one thing doing 40% of two different jobs.
OP, it may not suck dick, but it is still taking it in the ass from the alternative.
Same actually. Fuck all these pretentious retards.
>maybe lurk the thread and you will somehow change the opinion you made through experience and knowing what the fuck you're talking about
Tell me a set of headphones that have directional sound as good as Cloud II's and a decent mic at the same price or less.
Literally just pick any headphones at that price and add a cheap zalman clip on mic. Done. They will all be better quality.
>directional sound
>headset
You have your Gunnar glasses on too? Mom is real proud of you and believes in your e-sports dreams.
Honestly hated headsets with a passion like most people ITT, but I got sick of cheap mics and just bit the bullet and got Cloud II's. Best decision of my life. Only paid $50 for them too. Money well spent.
>>>headset
Why the fuck are you cats eating electronics?
Examples please. I've been using the recommended cheap Zalmans for years ,but the Cloud II's mic is just better.
Sup Forums's desperation to hate shit is really sad sometimes.
>I got sick
No, sounds like you got lazy.
Cats love wires, idiot.
That makes absolutely no sense.
No, I got sick of having to buy cheap clip-ons. Cloud IIs blew me away actually. I used to hate headsets too, but Kingston really know what they're doing. Hell, my friend got Stingers and even his mic sounds great.
Anything is going to sound better when you go from absolute garbage to springing for something a little less garbage.
As for helping you out, you're too lazy to even know you're in the wrong. It is fine if you are happy with what you have, but this isn't a classroom. Try if you can be shitted to spend 5 minutes learning or if you need to make a spoonfeeding thread.
Of course the mic is slightly better if you're buying the cheapest mic available. The point is you should be buying much better headphones and just use a cheap mic, it works and you're not the one hearing it. Just buy a desktop mic if you want better quality than the Cloud II's.
