Why do people expect this to be at PSX? Didn't Sony say they wouldn't announce anything new at PSX? Paris Games Week was already very lackluster.

Considering the number of people already shitting on it on the basis of a proofless leak, yeah you're 100% right.

It's exactly the reason why the premises of the leak are so shitty that gives the game's existence some margin of possibility. Capcom just doesn't have money to support their projects, which is why they end up making paths with companies for console exclusivity (aka: low cost for the company buying the exclusivity, low budget for the project in realization) and using third-party engines like Unreal Engine 4 over their dropped in-house engines.

This, it goes it weird details fake leaks usually doesn't.

If this is a fake leak it's very well made, because they almost never talk about stuff like "movement has been streamlined" and "the camera pulls back during boss battles". It's those little things that mark a geniune leak, not just the things people want.

You would literally have to be shit eating levels of retarded to believe that sony won't have anything new or exciting to show at their goddamn own exclusive event.

Yeah, that's true. I'm just a little doubtful because I remember reading about PSX after Paris Games Week and they said something about PSX just being about interviews and updates on games we already know are coming out. But they also said: "A few surprises" so who knows what'll happen.
