I still can't believe Nintendo thought 240p was acceptable. 480p would have been a bit low for a modern device, but fucking 240p on an 8th generation 3D-focused system was just plain pathetic.

And the worst part is that if they hadn't gone with the 3D gimmick, the 3DS's processor probably would have been able to drive a 480p screen. And a 480p screen wouldn't have cost them any more than a proprietary 3D screen, which everyone promptly disabled the 3D feature for anyway.

Everything is overpriced because of it being on a nintendo platform. Otherwise I'd re-buy some games, but for some ports of older games to be more expensive on something that lowers fps and graphics (not that it matters, but indie games shouldn't be stuttering or demanding power like in the nes and snes days).
If you can afford the extra nintendo tax, go for it, though.

The Switch is a fantastic portable. Nintendo really got their shit together on this one, but I really don't think they've even realized it yet. Games are more expensive, but as someone whose PC is an actual potato clock, I'm fine with paying extra for good portable titles.

Most ports we're talking about were wiiu and pc games I've never played, and I only did like 15 hours of skyrim.

Also I hope it will have a lot of port from last generation, a portable ps3/360 was my dream: the idea of dead spice, normie theft auto or call of duty portable make my dick hard.

Monster hunter games. The second analog stick makes the games 100x better

look for used sales. I know its 'bongland' but i could grab one today used but boxed for £80 if I wanted to. Only issue is the memory cards which cost half as much as the console itself

It is fairly small but everything else about it is fucked. While I have no doubt the "play anywhere" gimmick is helping console sales only the most deluded fan can deny it wouldn't have been better to keep a dedicated handheld and console system. The Switch suffers from overpriced hardware and software as a handheld and underpowered hardware as a console.
