This is one of the best JRPG's ever made

This is one of the best JRPG's ever made.

Prove me wrong.

It's cinematic but I still rather watch anime

Orested's story is top tier and the gameplay style is a gem I haven't seen done except maybe in the newest south park game.

I think most people here never play snes

South Park is trash too. Good job man

>South Park gameplay style
>anything but trash
I was interested in OP until it read this desu

Story's climax is really uninspired and the combat system is goofy. Otherwise yeah it's ok. Music is good

>South Park is trash too. Good job man

Eh desu it's not really the same. Status fields don't exist and you don't get the same variety of ailments and across the board attacks.

Enemies have far greater depth in attacks and you have spin your opponent with certain attacks to delay their turns.

>best JRPG
that's like being the tallest midget
it's still shit

>Story's climax is really uninspired

Disagree. I thought the whole plot twist was pretty subverting for the time given how cliche it seemed.

fuck you

no i'm the best!
Parasite Eve is the best, actually

It's great and I love it, but I agree with , the game's climax isn't great.

>Parasite Eve is the best, actually

Parasite Eve is also just as good.

am me you?

Better than CT

You're wrong, here's proof.

I always think this is salsa frontier

>people legitimately complain about oboro's chapter because they can't memorize the castle's layout
Also posting a rough gem of an RPG. Those turning animations make me rock fucking hard

>decide to play through this again
>do Western and Sci-fi chapters
>quit

I wish Squeenix would give this premise a try again.

I mostly complain about how ass-backwards soem decisions are in order to get the no casualty route.
It's the 3d best chapter still.

Psychic chapter is the worst.

Wrestling chapter is the worst

Nah, I still think Psychic. It's so boring and dull.

At least wrestling you actually get to fight other fighters and steal their moves.

Fine, as long as you agree Cowboy or Kung Fu chapter are the best

Psychic just feels like a more dark than usual standard RPG setting desu. All the other chapters (except first half of Oersted) are far more refreshing RPG settings in comparison.

Nice to see a thread about it that I didn't have to make

Good game but hard to replay as chapters like the sci-fi, western, and mecha one have little replay value. Only ones like the ninja chapter and final chapter have replayability

...

For some reason, up until just now, the name Live a Live made me think of one of those idolshit games like Idolmaster or whatever
Why is that?

you are correct, why would i prove you wrong?

>can recognize all the character in this picture
>the average Sup Forumsfag probably can only recognize sonic

>love live

But all the romhacking translation weebs tell me Der Langrisser is the best JRPG
