What's your opinion on Shaun "Day [9]" Plott?
What's your opinion on Shaun "Day [9]" Plott?
No idea, fuck off.
Day 9 daily 100 is a fun story and worth listening to. He's just a dude who loves broodwar and wants other people to like it too. I don't watch him on twitch not sure what else there really is to say.
He stopped doing funday monday and lost a shit ton of viewership as a result. He's an example of how not to treat your audience.
He's started SC2 related stuff again now that BW is dead.
Isn't SC2 kind of dead now?
Nah, it's pretty huge for an RTS. Has like 100k concurrent players while BW as about 700 in the west.
It got a bit of its playerbase back now that it became free to play (multiplayer free, singleplayer campaigns paid for). SC2 on Twitch has also climbed significantly since then. It's nowhere near the old days but it's more alive than it was half a year ago with lots of tournaments and events going on.
Games played per day are roughly back to early 2014 levels right now and still rising.
>e-celeb shit on Sup Forums
is taking way, way too long to learn a moba
He's a fucking idiot. He was one of the biggest members of the SC2 community and instead of riding that wave out he dropped out to work on that stupid RTS/MOBA that got canned pretty much instantly.
>lying about some e-celeb
kys
What exactly was that game anyway? I don't think it was ever really explained. Were they just doing groundwork with no direction? Is that why it didn't go anywhere?
>HYUCK HYUCK HYUCK
...
He was cool and fun but now is so cringe, reddit corrupted him.
Fuck he is even pro loot boxes
Funday Monday was pretty awesome
Gonna sound gay but in undergrad my roommate would religiously watch funday monday together. Sean was hilarious and a big draw wasn't his serious analyses of the games but his long-winded tangents and anecdotes.
Wasn't SC2 already a rotting corpse by the time he started working on that game?
I just remember there was a long time where SC2 was dying and the community was in denial about it.
he just seems to refuse to disagree with anything
being overly positive is cool but sometimes I think he's holding back too much
