This game so fucking boring

Horrible cover system, repetitive gunplay, poor interface, poor fov, dialogue choices that don't matter, bad acting and graphics that looked old in 2004. The worst part is the boring story and annoying cutscenes. Take two steps. Cutscene. Take two more steps. Cutscene. Jesus fucking christ! Why does Sup Forums consider this to be one of the best RPGs of the 21st century?

Also I forgot to mention that it doesn't allow you to save during combat, so you if you die you need backtrack through annoying dialogue.

Weird. Despite loving the shit out of Bioware's Kotor and Jade Empire, and other similiar type games like Fable, I've never gotten into this. I've tried like 3 or 4 times but dropped the game within a couple of hours every single time. There's just something off-putting in the game.

Agreed. It was mediocre on release and I never understood its popularity, same with Bioshock 1.

I think my favorite part was at the beginning when you're trying to deflect Saren's accusations in court. Also, towards the end. The creative direction was so crap though that I couldn't help but find the rest uninteresting.

How is the trilogy on PS3? Hacked my PS3 finally and thinking about downloading it. I do have 1 and 2 on Steam but I really don't want to deal with fucking Origin just to play 3.

I was asking how the games run not how good the games are.

People praise the voice acting in the ME series but I never understood. Femshep doesn't sound like she's speaking naturally, it always sounds like she's playing with toy spaceships with a child. Over-enunciated, overly-dramatic, but also always quite soft. Even when she's supposed to be angry, there's never any real vitriol in there.

Just buy the physical version of the game from Amazon on PC, if you don't Origin. It's like 7 bucks.

Star Trek and Star Wars were okay because there was no such thing as real animations/ CGI so only movie tricks with masks and paint can get you so far but in fucking video games it's unnacceptable to not have actual aliens, creatures that physically look like they evolved differently and in no way look remotely human, and before Mass Effect babbies post your furniture aliens that don't do anything.

I was 7 when the game came out, and I didn't really care about playing games until I was 13 when it became popular thing to do in my school. So my parents bought me a PS4 two weeks after I turned 14, when the system launched.
