>""third new and improved version"" actually guts scenes and removes and truncates meaningful dialogue from the original

Let's not even get into the Totem Kommo-O that uses fucking placeholder text for its introduction.

>guts scenes and removes and truncates meaningful dialogue from the original
You can probably thank the translation for that. Something like that happened to BotW too.

Why do you always post your bait on Sup Forums after it gets BTFO on /vp/?

the game would be better if all the dialogue was removed. Why did they turn Pokemon in to a visual novel?

>the game would be better if all the dialogue was removed
It's called a skip button. Why is it so hard to please both audiences?

When I was a kid a visual novel was pretty much what I was begging for

>Why don't I get friends like Ash does
>Why does no one acknowledge my awesome partner
>How come I can't see them outside combat
>waaah waaah I wanna get to know people not just beat them

>character has different motivation in one game compared to another
>as such, other characters talk about him differently
>"WTF THEY REMOVED SO MUCH MEANINGFUL DIALGA"

>placeholder text

please elaborate

>>character has different motivation in one game compared to another
Guzma in SM vs USUM? Not really..? Did you even play both games? This would apply at most, to Lusamine.

I want to lick her butt hole

>Not really..?
First off, you're a fucking faggot.

And yeah, he went into Ultra Space in SM because he wants to be the strongest and Lusamine recognizes him as strong, and he went into Ultra Space in USUM to help Lusamine fight Necrozma

I would too if she got a better haircut

She looks like some 50-60 year old trying to be hot and trendy.

This is USUM.

>Third new and improved version

>No skip cutscenes option

I've yet to finish the game because of it. I just want to play the fucking game and all these cutscenes don't even let me fucking breath for even 5 minutes. This would have been excusable if I hadn't already played Sun and it's even worse knowing that I already know 80% of the cutscenes in the entire game as well, the only mildly interesting parts being left for fucking post-game.

This is the exact same scene and dialogue box in the original Sun and Moon.

Not placeholder text

Did you miss the memo? Kommo-o can create sound waves.

The real crime is that he couldn't use his Z move when you fight him.

In the games a pokemon's cry doesn't have to resemble his own name, that's mostly an anime only thing.
Also Kommo-o is themed around sound based attacks.
It's a poor stylistic choice and a change that didn't need to be made, but it's not an oversight.

Clearly, what's happening here is that Kommo-o is trying to cry out what he thinks "sound" sounds like.

hint: he just cries sound

You sound like a bitch

Don't give a shit about the minor changed scenes, Lillie stays and becomes an actual gameplay partner and the bosses are infinitely better to the point where they make the game actually playable this time around.

>And the bosses are infinitely better to the point where they make the game actually playable this time around

Shame they didn't bother to do this first time around. Trainers are so damn easy too, what with their one-two-pokemon teams.

Yeah, everything was underwhelming except Kukui in the first one, this one has better Totems and the UN battle that actually managed to wipe many teams. I wish they'd make more uncatchable superbosses with stats like that in future titles, it's going to suck if it's just "wow that's cool looking" like the Lusamine fusion with a pathetically easy battle to accompany it.

is that nezumi?

still mad as fuck about plumeria's tattoo being fake

Holy shit I totally forgot this bitch existed until I saw this pic.
Man, what great writing and memorable characters these games had.

>try to stir shit about placeholder text meme
>no one bites it
The absolute state of OP. Try not to false flag now

It was fun. Not the best 3rd version I've ever seen, but still a good game.
