How the FUCK do I consistently do electric wind godfist in tekken 7?

How the FUCK do I consistently do electric wind godfist in tekken 7?

It's insane how hard it is to get regularly. KBD, wavedash is not hard. I caught on to that quick. But EWGF is fucking me hard.

You need to become themainmanSWE

Which Mishima? Kazuya is the easiest because you can do f,N,d/f instead of f,N,d,d/f

Devil Virjin

Honestly I think it depends on the controller.

I can do it real easy on a MadCatz 360 FightPad.

Ah yes, tekkucks, So shit at fighting games they think a DP is hard.

easy, git gud

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, MvC and MK have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.

I play 2d fighters and never had any problem doing DPs. EWGF is not just a regular dp, it's just frame.

Or maybe you're just baiting me and I'm an idiot for replying to your retarded post.

He's baiting, Sup Forums is full of capcbros remember

>Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, MvC
>advanced impressively in their latest installments

aaayyyyyy lmaooo

When you press down forward you have to also press the attack button at the same time.

6523+attack

you need to practice coordinating your two hands. The biggest tip I can give is give yourself a little delay on the attack. Most people press the attack button sooner than they should. Set the dummy to block, so you can practice more. And remember to switch sides.

I can't enjoy Capcom fighting games?

>not their modern ones

Fuck off.

Who said anything about not enjoying capcom games?

>it's just frame
LMAO "just frame" in tekken is like 4 frame window, you stupid fucking cunt.

go ahead but don't piss in every single thread about tekken and say shit that makes you look retarded, like saying electrics are "just a dp"

>1 frame is somehow 4 frame

Good to know we have a fighting game expert in the thread with us, please share more of your wisdom.

it's been 1 frame ever since tekken 3

Even korean pros that play 10 hours a day can only hit EWGF 80% in tournament. Keep practicing dummy.

>1 frame
WRONG!

I saw barely any dropped electrics in twt though, maybe a couple from qudans

Well that wasn't me that started the chian, I was just butthurt.

Although I am firmly disappointed with Tekken 7. It's okay but hardly to the quality of its predecessors (even 6, which was pretty disappointing in its own right).

No it hasn't, at least learn your own shitty game

TTT2 was shit

That doesn't quite explain how to perform consistent EWGF.

this guy is a prime example of why just grinding electrics isn't the best use of your time if you want to play tekken

>Geese can max cancel strings into launcher
>We finally get rematches

Finally, I a character I can style with.

Also a reminder that you're no better than smash kids if you don't play a Mishima, Lee or anyone who requires execution.

PEWGF's are a 1 framer though, and not those easy combo 1 framers either when you can perfect the timing in reference to the last hit

I can do it 50% of the time but I just started learning the game it's best geting the timing down. Try hittng 2 with down during the motion.

You brought up PEWGF. OP said he isn't even using Kazuya.

Tekken 7 turned me into a nintenbro no joke

I play smash bros now

we are having a conversation outwidth OP's posts, even then why am I wasting my time with
>tekucks/DP motion/>tekken>skill/anyonewho's been exposed to....
poster again

I seriously cannot even parse this string of text

>Street Faggots mad that Tekken is, and always will be, the best fighting game that takes the most skill to play, with the best community.

I've gotten it down to a science. Two quick motions and it works every time.

Motion 1: quickly tap forward then let go (RTN)
Motion 2: quickly press down+forward+RP

easy EWGF and it will even be PEWGF sometimes.

>mfw watching capcuks try to wavedash and ewgf

>tfw Sup Forums is full of Tekken God level Mishima players who had 40-man Naxx on farm and are 9k MMR

It's practice and muscle memory.

Also try pushing 2 with the down input and not the downforward.

Play a superior 3d fighting game

Do you mean VF? It looks cool but nobody plays it.

any tips from the 1p side specifically?

that was the 1p side.

On a DS4 it’s literally foward, down PLUS triangle simultainiously for Kazuya. Im not good, but i can pull that EWGF off 95% of the time.

I have a stick though, I don't use pad

Ok sorry about that.

>like ninas sticky rush down style, but she's hard as fuck apparently
Which character is relatively simple, with good whiff punish and rushdown? Help a baddie out

>who is easy

Josie. Or if you really want hit x to win just pick up Katarina.

>Which character is relatively simple, with good whiff punish and rushdown? Help a baddie out

>eddy
>Paul
>Lucky chloe
>Hwarang
>Bob

you dont even need to know which button does what, just smash your thumb on the controller like an autist and youll win easy.

>Which character is unga and low iq
Josie, Dragunov, Paul

Play on Hit Box.

WHERE THE FUCK IS GEESE?

WHERE IS GEESE

KBD is hard as fuck, what the fuck are you talking about. I've been trying to do it on gamepad for weeks and I still can't do it. EWGF is the easy one.

so OP ignoring all the other shit in the thread, what do you play on? I've only really done electrics on stick but can do them on pad with some success
the way I'd recommend you training for them is
1) get the motion down, forward, neutral, down, down/forward
2) work on the timing - if you do a regular godfist, your button press was too late, if you get d+2 or d/f+2 your button press was too early
you will need to press the button before you hit down/forward because of your having to do the motion and all that

>tekken 3
noice

Only for season pass holders
otherwise get bent

I use stick

2p is coming along but 1p is still jacked

I have the pass but I still don't see him

Seriously bros how can one character be this perfect?
