>every single race starts and/or ends in one of like 9 locations
What do I win?
No way to quickly restart a race if you mess things up.
it's boring as shit
Too much DLC cars
>open world garbage that is filled to the brim with DLC that also feels lifeless
Easily the worst burnout game
The paradise city intro/loading screen(s) lasts forever. It's fun the first few times but by the 30th start it gets annoying as fuck.
>dude here's the first half of the song lmao
Reminds me of HS where you'd always watch the first half of some movie on the last day of class, but never EVER get to see the ending
Crash cam looks fun only first couple of time. After that, it is annoying trash that you cant skip, yet criterion stayed to that shitty formula for years.
Someone in Sup Forums was doing a giveaway and it actually delivered.
It's a really fun game, but it got dated. I don't mind Carmageddon, DDerby or Flatout, they are awesome, but car crashing glorification is not in the current agenda
The GT nighthawk is literally p2w
they patched that in ages ago
you win the wrong award, every intersection on the map is a start point for a race and there are 8 different ending locations, I think it's neat
>racing game
Maybe I missed it then? I certainly don't remember seeing an option for it when I played it a year or so ago.
Fuck off racing games are great if done right
We got a Brian Regan fan in the house.
you press right on the d-pad during or after an event and it brings up the option
>Sup Forums
I didn't realize this was 2007.
What if playing with keyboard?
the map is nice but not big enough. It gets tiring always drifting in the same dang curves after a bit.
Developers were too lazy to create tracks. 3 was superior in every aspect.
The soundtrack was overall much blander than both Takedown and Revenge. The only songs that ever stuck with me were Paradise City and Beautiful Ruin.
>keyboard
>racing games
this and NFSMW 2005 have the OSTs that throw me back to my teenage years
whatever lets you bring up that sub menu when driving, I've always used a pad since I moved from PS3 to PC
It was a bit hard to tell where to go during races, and since races always ended at the same like 8 places, they would always diverge into the same 10 or so routes depending on what direction you are coming from
Needed car customization I think. Still one of the best racing games though.
pointless comment sage
2009 though, the 'Blacked version'.
You know, I think I might finally try to finish the game before Xenoblade comes out
It's great, but I preferred the other Burnout games.
>tfw bought dirt rally since i haven't played a racing game since gran turismo on ps2
>I'm terrible
help
I want to enjoy racing games again
Why the fuck isn't there anything burnout related or even vaguely burnout-ish coming out anymore?
Burnout gives you the best feeling of going FAST mang. I'm playing fucking Dirt Rally now.
played it for hundreds of hours, races fucking SUCKED, many repeated the same path, all the map has this blue/gray filter so finding routes is annoying as shit, couldnt they have layed down some big ass arrows on intersections to know where the path was? like in any other fucking racing game?
f-zero gx is 11/10
but it is nothing like burnout paradise at all
please keep the thread on topic
hi, i was top5 NA and top 25 world in trackmania nations forever, using only keyboard
It's a racing game
I think that this game has the best compilation of
commercial songs ever made to a game.
I just wish there we had some kind of Burnout ultimate collection with all content in HD on PC.
Oh, all your cities lie in dust
YEAH!
>tfw unironically like most of Avril Lavigne's music
