In game Masterchief will get shat on. Novel Chief might have more of a chance, but that depends on which weapon he is carrying and whether Doomguy's armour can even be pierced by conventional weaponry. Oh, and the rounds in the heavy machine gun is larger than the rounds in the Halo weapons.

A merchant girl with a shotgun and a fuckton of defensive buffing and healing magic that has killed a whole mess of world-ending threats, and has the ability to summon all of her friends, including but not limited to a giant robot dragon, a nature fairy with a particle cannon, a demon that spams huge nerve damage spells and can teleport infinitely, and a walking suit of armor that takes next to no physical damage from any source.
I feel like we'll be ok with the whole crew and even if summoning her friends is off limits she can just teleport him away instantly and grind more to make it ok.
And by god can she cook. I hope she captures me and forcefeeds me hypernutritious food and throws me to the wolves over and over again until I get strong enough to handle it afterwards.

He's also frail as all fuck, can't heal on command and doesn't have any sort of i-frame mechanic to his disposal. All the Hunter has to do is some aggressive hit&run, maybe parry his melee attacks. Doom guy wouldn't last 5 minutes.

Chief can sense when someone is about to attack him and instantly react to it, can jump 30 feet in the air, see in slow motion and see in even slower motion while in combat, and he has insane reflexes, this isn't a match for Chief.
