You've haven't really played Tetris if you've only tried it. It's when you've gotten to level 9 and still can keep up that you've actually played it. Also to be able to build so you'll erase four rows with a straight block by habit.
SH2 wasn't even that good. 8/10 at best. SH1 was superior.
t. Someone who has played both games for the first time this month.
None. Games are shit.
Also SH1 > 2
Metal Gear Solid 3

I haven't played most of these.
What's so great about these?
Everyone should experience this in a Sup Forums server. We used to always have 100+ players online at the same time, now we still have a stable population of 70. Good shit.
I've got DMC 3 but never played any of them
Should I pick up the first two before I play the third or does it not matter
play the first if you want, its a good game but not necessary to have fun. don't bother with the second, seriously.
Is it still a clusterfuck? Last time I tried this, it was basically a glorified chatroom full of memers.
I don't think it was ever like that. Maybe you just got in at the wrong time. Or maybe you arrived at Area 0 and didn't know how to switch to the case areas.
Metal Gear 1, 2 and 3 and pretend the series ended there
I was in the right place but I think they were having trouble assembling the case doc or something. The faggot playing Adachi was really getting annoying so I just left. From what I understand, trials are pretty much an all-day commitment so I don't know how much I'd be willing to participate. Maybe I'll pop in again this evening, see what's going on.
They eventually got rid of all-day trials, now you have all sorts of formats, some which last less than 4 hours
;_;
Do so.
>RE1 remake
>Silent Hill 2 (and 1 and 3 if you like it)
>Killer7
>Rez
...
>stable 70
BULL FUCKING SHIT
Its always 12-18 in crossover court (absolute shit court that shouldnt exist)
A bunch in lounge, arcade
And thats it
30 tops
Oh yeah and
>Mirror's Edge
>Timesplitters 2
>two Halo games
>no other FPS games
How does Advance Wars 2 stack up to 1? Is it just a better game? I started 2 on an emulator but I lost the save a while ago.
1, 3 and 4 are all worth playing. Never play 2 though, it's a very dull and generic action game, the only interesting thing it does is give you a customizable devil trigger.
AW2 is one but 10 times better.
Advance Wars 2 is just 1 but better like the other guy said.
For a GBA game (and even games today), the amount of content in it is absolutely fucking insane. The gameplay doesn't get old or tired, each character is unique enough to encourage completely different playstyles, multiplayer is probably the most fun on any mobile game I've ever seen
...
What games do you play?
Fuck me you have good taste.
Overall a pretty good list, but
>Pokemon Yellow
I'm a genwunner, but the gen 1 games are outclassed gameplay-wise by the following entries in the series.
>Bioshock
Was a while since I played it, but it didn't strike me as anything amazing. Still good though
I would add
F-Zero GX (and maybe F-Zero X too because I have a boner for that game aswell)
MGR:R (maybe) and/or Bayonetta
UFO: Enemy Unknown
Tetris
>fags recommending SH 1-3
>no 4
>no shattered memories
Pathetic and typical parroting of the same lame ass opinions
>Deus Ex
Why would someone play a shitty doom ripoff?
only game worth playing (or reading) in your life
>What's so great about these?
The original Silent Hill -games by the now late Team-Silent are some of the most atmospheric, frightening, beautiful and actually quite deep, mature horror-experiences, that do not rely on jumpscares or splatter shock value. Instead, they utilize AND practically coined the term "psychological horror", which at best can give you a lingering feeling of unease that lasts long.
Ask any serious horror fan, you are bound to hear praise for SH games. If anything, at least SH2 is brought up all the time for its plot, symbolism, themes and characters. All of the OG games also have absolutely outstanding OSTs and general audio-design. The games itself have tons of replay-value, in many shapes and form.
If you've for some reason not played SH1-4 yet, here's the set-up guide + DL links for the PC ports :

-Play in the release order.
-Never play below Normal difficulty.
-Replaying them all is recommended.
-Turn down the ingame Brightness setting,
-Don't try to kill everything that moves, especially outdoors.
-Turning OFF the flashlight can really help.
This too. All TS games are great, and SH:SM is an experience worth playing at least once.
