Bought a new 2TB external HDD the other day for my PS4. Had to move all the installed data over to it, and of course, install all the uninstalled games too. Thanks to my physical discs this took SECONDS to do. Literally SECONDS. Know why? Because i didn’t have to fucking download it from a server first. Nah i am absolutley good with choice my man. Id sooner import DMC3:SE (it has full english language voice and text somehow) from Japan than only have the digital version we allow. Plus it can be cheaper. Whats that? Sony want £30+ for Bloodborne AND it’s DLC? Nah thanks, i can pick it up physical for £16 m8

Well, if someone is obsessive fan that just has to start playing his game at 00:00 on release day and the game has pre-load that might be true, but if one is stuck with 10Mbit DSL line trying to suck down 60+GB game I'm pretty sure a walk to nearby game store would be shorter than waiting 14 hours for the download to finish.
Digital has it's upsides but it's not be all end all option and the physical won't go away anytime soon.

PS4 game cases are roughly 2 cm shorter than standard DVD / PS2 boxes but PS2 also had a space for storing a memory card in the box besides the disc and the booklet.
