Now that the dust has settled can we admit this is best AC after Black flag?
Can we admit that Origins has no verticality and no gameplay? (its a desert walking sim)

hows rogue
its a Black Flag Snow DLC
Rogue makes it's own luck.
AC II still is the best AC game tho
Origins is the only AC with gameplay though
>(its a desert walking sim)
Did you even play the game? Most of the game isn't even set in the desert area
Active combat has only gotten worse over time. Syndicate was all right except for how weak single punches and stabs were. The fighting style was one of those elements of the time period to keep it authentic, but it wasn't good for the gameplay.
Origins is a hack-and-slash first, Loot-gathering game second, and Assassin's Creed third. The focus is primarily on getting new shiny weapons and upgrading the gear you have. It's got some good stuff, but the fighting weighs it down also.
I want them to bring back Social Stealth in the next one. Greece and Rome were more "civilized," so maybe they'll do that.
The predator bow is OP, it's basically a fucking sniper
No because this shit has the worst combat mechanics in any game I've ever played, even worse than 1, and combined with the half assed and unpolished lvl up system this makes side missions and gang fights tedious and buggy
Yeah, the bows in Origins are basically guns.
>Syndicate was all right except for how weak single punches and stabs were.
That doesn't sound right. Every singular attack that I do after a stun was always enough to leave enemies in a stagger state for execution moves.
It's not. The gameplay is literally spam attack until someone attacks you or blocks, the transitions during free-running are abrupt as fuck, you can be on a poll and jump a couple of metres across to the next building, it's like the character is about to be sucked into a blackhole. The social stealth has been gutted to the point that it's basically useless. Instead of building on and improving the notoriety system, they got rid of it, now enemies automatically detect you unless you spend like 7k on a gang upgrade. The AI is dogshit and will often kill themselves if they're anywhere that isn't ground level, constantly walking off of buildings and into the water. Carriages control like arse and are nothing but an annoyance in the game. The open-world is dead, since the only thing you can do is kidnappings, clearing enemy strongholds or finding boring collectables. Everyone in the story is a complete bore except the twins and the villain is just another Vaas wannabe. You also can't permanently keep your hood on, it onlybe worn when crouching, which sucks.
London was a dreadfully boring blob of a city with no real iconic places outside of the Big Ben area and even that was just a bunch of samey looking hallways. Jacob was a poor man's Ezio and Evie was a poor man's Connor. The story and pacing was trash and it was impossible to care about anyone.
I like Assassin's Creed and Syndicate is probably my least favorite of any of the big boy console ones. Origins is the best since Black Flag, and I haven't even finished it yet. By the end it'll probably be the best one since 2. The main story isn't great, but the side quests are Witcher 3 tier and there's a shit ton of them.
syndicate is absymal. origins is literally the only tolerable asscreed since BF
I was kind of hoping that the game would show some company run by Templars that would eventually turn into Abstergo. The Industrial Revolution was probably the best opportunity to showcase Templar power being refocused into business over religion.
Too bad the focus was on muh social injustices and gang warfare.

Good someone pointed it out. They made an action RPG with AC name slapped to it.
>good AC games
2, Brotherhood, Black Flag
>okay AC games
Revelations, Rogue, Unity
>shit AC games
1, 3, Syndicate
I don't care what anyone says, Jacob and Evie were amazing.
It's comfy.
is it BF-level comfy?
I couldn't last more than half an hour before uninstalling, movement was retarded, graphics nothing special. It tainted my hard drive.
Depends on how much you like snow.
Rogue is the only one I never even touched (well, and Liberation, but that's still a handheld game as far as I'm concerned). What are the cities in that? Even older New York than 3, and anything else?
Not much in terms of major settlement I'm afrad. I don't mind because I dislike that period's architecture o I enjoy the game for the wilderness and the ocean.
