Will ya?

will ya?

I never got into any of this faggot shit

I already did, but SOMEONE isn't doing it.

>Ib
Neat, I liked it. Was there much discussion around it ever?

>no brad

Don't move on, you still need to talk about it more and buy more shit

I really hate Undertale for reasons other than the cancer fanbase (the metafiction is extremely forced and that's all I'll say)

Cave story was great.

OFF was fucking phenomenal, loved all of that game.

Haven't played the other games here, could someone here recommend them or are they shit like Undertale?

Who's the first one from left?

What are these ones I haven't played?

all but one of these games are free boyo

The girl with the rose is called Ib, from a game called Ib.

I liked Undertale but you're not even wrong, you could remove all the metafiction and the core story of the true pacifist route stays the same. It almost felt like the metafiction was just there to make it more memorable since you're not expecting it.

The girl in the pink sweater is from Yume Nikki. Surreal exploration RPG maker game with no text or dialogue, it's pretty neat and chill. I recommend because it's nothing like Undertale.

I'm less familiar with it but I think the girl holding the rose is from an RPG maker game similar to Yume Nikki but with more of a story and horror elements. I don't recognize the other unidentified characters.

Thanks, user. I'll check it out.

Was this image made before Oneshot?

The entire genocide route is planned to make you feel bad for doing it as a completionist reward. I just wish Undertale had a true villain. Someone that would test my patience and make me really consider the attack button. But no, even the demented flower is a perfect soul who must be protected and if you think otherwise or want to 100% your game then the game makes fun of you.

The worst part of this, is that it's earned the title of some incredible civil rights game or something. When that's not even close to true. Hotline Miami is a better commentary on violence in media, so is No More Heroes, and those are games where violence is mandatory even!

The girl with the rose I actually recognize. It's from Ib, pretty old game now. It was good.

Based on the demo, I'd assume the game was made with the metafuckery genocide route in mind and the actual pacifist story came afterward, like making a creepypasta and then building a game around it to make it more legit. The most noteworthy parts of the demo were from Flowey, who called out your savescumming like in the full game but also changing the manual found in the demo's folder.

>Tumblr and reddit autists still complaining about this undertale fanbase that no one has ever heard of who doesn't visit tumblr and reddit

All games are free
fuck you denuvo

This kinda makes me think. I originally thought DDLC was some Undertale tier metafiction, but it does it 10 times better than Undertale ever does.

>yume nikki will never get updated again
Fuck you for reminding me.

>no sabitsuki
shit pic.

I'll admit I really enjoyed Undertale, but aside from initially making the mistake of thinking you had to kill Toriel and reloading, I did a perfect Neutral to True Pacifist run the first time because I realized it was possible, and to see any more of the game (or even 'meet' Chara) I would have to erase the happy ending I got everyone. Fuck that. Guess I'm never seeing the genocide storyline. I'll probably never play it again.

>found ao oni on /x/ years ago
>really liked the atmosphere even though it had no translation
>had to guess my way through horrible puzzles without a single word of English but it was fine
>it starts to get popular and people translate it
>feel like this is a good thing at first
>e-celebs destroy it

>e-celebs destroy it
Kill yourself my good man.

I'm working on it

What, was LISA too triggering for this artist or something?

Fuck you i'll never move on from OneShot

>implying we should ever move on from Brad.

I can't even find any gameplay for the leftmost girl, what's her deal?

>but aside from initially making the mistake of thinking you had to kill Toriel and reloading
Everyone I know made this mistake (including me), and I think that's one big criticism I would have for the game.

The game is a largely linear sorta experience but while it teaches things like new combat mechanics well, there are some things I felt weren't signposted to the player well enough. For example, during the whole tutorial I was under the assumption that you could damage enemies a bit and then spare them like it's pokemon, I felt the tutorial messages regarding this weren't really clear enough. I didn't realize it meant "you have to spam the spare option for bosses", and it feels kinda cheap to have Toriel just drop to zero health when you get her low enough. It's also inconsistent as Asgore is the one enemy that you absolutely have to fight even on a pacifist route and unlike Toriel, he doesn't die when he reaches 0 HP. Why was the rest of the game not handled like this? And it only bothers me because of the metafiction. Like, don't blame me for savescumming when you force my character to do something I wasn't intending to do.

no viola either

>batter
He tried to kill everyone though.

After more searching, translation when?

Accidentally killing toriel teaches you that resetting is fair game, and that sometimes sparing people can be a puzzle.

i refuse to move on from yume nikki and cave story

not in pic but also oneshot too

OFF is great too

Who is far right and far left??

Off - Yumi Nikki - Undertale - Ib - Cavestory

ive been meaning to play it actually

>tfw rpg maker games shit on half the AAA games released

I just completed OneShot yesterday, and now this. Way to twist the knife in the wound.

Far right is the protag from Ao Oni

OFF, Yume Nikki, Ib, and Cave Story were my shit

Fuck Undertale and Ao Oni though. Not sure what the far left is

Where the fuck is my boy Niko?
