All that is important is to come out on top, so cheating in MP is perfectly fine. But cheating in SP like ppl do in certain games with overhaul/balance mods is just dumb, not least cause you can never trust a modder to do a programmer's work.

Why would anyone even cheat in a video game. Wouldn't that take the fun away? Then again, I played on easy mode when I was a kid so maybe its the same thing.

When I'm on my alt, I point my mouse straight up to make it look like I'm hacking, I also click that little button on my mouse that severely increases my sensitivity. Why piss off by hacking when you can do it with skill?

Funniest cheater i've ever run into was on a Quake 3 Arena public server many years ago.
Dude was noclipping around but hiding under the map, and he'd just slowly rise up from the ground and fly at you with the saw gauntlet.
Was fucking hilarious and spooky because everybody'd be fighting in one room then suddenly he just gunbusters out the floor and starts floating towards one of us randomly and we all just scatter across the map before he sank down again.

No, what is really funny is exploiting the game to fuck with everyone. In Call of Duty 4 I used to nadeswitch in Team Deathmatch, ended up having a 50+/1 kill ratio while pissing both of the teams off.

99% of cheaters absolutely dont want a reaction, they just want to win

There's a world of difference between hacking in ranked modes, playing as discreetly as possible, and trying to act like you're better than the enemy team and what Goron City does/did.
