The game is god damn funny but fucking hell it looks terrible, even for a Switch game.
The screenshot doesn't even do its justice, it looks even worse in original (even docked)

Wait for the emulator and play the superior version on your PC if you have the patience.
>Wait for the emulator
hahahaha, see you in a decade mate
You can wait forever. Switch is ARM based
Not like he'll miss out on much
>Switch is ARM based
>somehow equals impossible to emulate
Nigga the ARM instruction set is well documented, and several ARM consoles have been emulated
DS
GBA
3DS
>HURRRR MUH GRAPHICS
Kys
Then why don't they make every game look like an N64 game? Why do they make games look like they do now just to reduce the draw distance and textures to shit? Fuck off with that argument already, if graphics wouldn't matter than there'd be no need to ever make better hardware
Reminder that your phone probably has a cpu and storage and ram equivalent or better than the switch
Phones are severely underclocked in general though. If they tried to maintain a competent clock speed for actual gaming it'd either melt or kill the battery in an hour.
>The game is god damn funny
PERVERT!.webm
I have the game and am loving it so far, but yes, it's not the best looking game from a technical standpoint. I mean the design is nice and the aesthetic and all, but you notice a lot of jaggies, frame drops and bad textures.
Doesn't keep me from enjoying it though, just wonder if Monolith rushed this one out a bit to make it before Christmas.
The switch also turns down its output when running on battery
Switch turns down its GPU only. CPU stays at the same clock rate since it's required to keep OS crap and game logic consistent between dock/undocked.
Is there anything less intelligent than saying phones are stronger than [handheld game console]?
It's like some kid looking at two numbers for CPUs and deciding "wow, this means my phone could run this so much better than the switch/vita/etc."
How stupid are you
Yeah, misreading and implying things that were never said is stupider.
I see such things posted every fucking day in some Switch thread.
Some clown will claim his phone would run game x better than the Switch cause it has y cpu and z ram, completely unaware of how these devices actually work
But it's PORTABLE. And muh grass and sky landscapes. And muh generic animu big tits.
So can this game be saved with an update ? It's fucking unfinished now.
>muh grass and sky
this is you
>frogposter can't detect sarcasm
shocking
>implying emulating can fix this even if a Switch emulator was in the foreseeable future
There's no fixing this shit, it's the models in the distance THEMSELVES that are blurry, not the draw distance or textures. They did this as a cheap workaround, sticking an inherently blurry mess in the background and saying it's blurry because it's "far away". You could be running Xenoblade 2 in 4k resolution with texture mods and all the works and it would still look like hot garbage.
Switch has cheap hardware, deal with it. Most of the money is going towards the controllers and the gpu.
Sever porn when
>The screenshot doesn't even do its justice
True. Because the game is beautiful.
>Switch has cheap hardware
True, but for Xenoblade 2 I honestly think that the problem lies far more in a rushed developpment than an underpowered console (though that doesn't help).
