Nowadays you just slap in a bunch of bullshit synchros into your deck and vomit them all out and win, its not fun. The game was OBJECTIVELY better back then, you can't argue.

There's a limited amount of currency in the game, so eventually you'll have to either spend money or not buy any new packs. You also can't craft cards.

Glads dont need MP2 when your opponent doesnt have it either and you arent making Gyzarus anyways.

What really fucks glads currently is Cyber Angels, without that theyd be tier 1.

it is fun and alot more balancd. lack of main phase 2 triggers me a lot tho. we also need a decent fusion deck all the current ones are shit. and even knowing this konami keeps dropping neos on newer boxes even though no one wants to play them

He was kind of annoying to do the side objectives but my XYZ Union deck shredded him like pretty much everything else in the event thus far, I just hate having to sub in specific cards to do shit like ritual summons or effect damage when I barely have any of that.

I've been playing since it came out and I've never had to spend a penny, they constantly release events + new characters to level to earn more currency. I always have currency for card packs, they also give you enough currency for 10 packs every time a new box is released.

I'm not even half way through leveling all the characters either.

It seems really weird, all of the enemies to that point were basic garbage and suddenly this guy's clearing my board and attacking me directly.

Yeah that's Levia Dragon. He and Daedalus have that effect with Umi so it's hard to get back up if you manage it. The enemies in the next 10 floors start having better decks too though, like the Ice Dragon with 2800 attack that makes it so monsters with ice tokens on them can't attack. The Gishkis were also annoying because it's hard to deck them out and I had to do that once.

Phoenix is good but I'm not sure you can even make a decent Red Eyes deck now since you can't get some of the good cards that were event only. You can reach it with other decks though. Like Ninjas.

In the real game they're decent but not meta. A couple of unfortunate card designs hurt the deck.

Don't build anything, save all your gems until the cards to build a good deck come out in a couple years.
