This doesn't seem like a very deep game. Basically do some out of combat moves to soften up the enemy, then once battle starts mash all your buttons to send all your allies to attack at once?

I mean I know RPGs aren't exactly that deep mechanics-wise since it's just mash X to attack and maybe use spells now and then, but coming from something like Skullgirls this is kind of a huge step down.

Ajna is pretty unnoticable in her normal form but she has this cool demon form. Maybe they should've added some demon aspects to her normal form like the fuckhuge fangs

Is there incentive to choosing a different order of attack over another? Is there any difference between the attacks/characters other than the animations they do when they fight?

The point is you can probably take away a zero or three and it won't even matter, only be easier to look at. What's with these fuckhuge numbers. Should you actually rack up good numbers later down the line, they will never ever feel impactful when even with a simple super move they go "oh yeah make that do twenty thousand damage"

The funniest thing about this game is its fanbase still brags about getting the thing funded when it's literally failed to hit its goal twice and it got to the point indie gogo had to change its policy in order to finally get it funded. Pretty sure any game will eventually be funded if the deadline keeps getting extended. As for me I'll maybe buy the game on Steam $3 on steam.

Lab Zero has some serious talent on their team, it's a shame they will always be a crowd fund company.

You can press the buttons whenever you want. The only reason there was waiting was so the moves would combo or hit everyone

If you don't time some moves property, your attacks will whiff. Some attacks also only work while enemies are airborn or ground, or gathered in a certain position.

Depends on the combo you need. Obviously you can't do a juggle combo (which builds more meter) without having a launch starter, and some characters are better at juggling than others. For example, using Ajna and Qadira, if you want to build more meter, it makes more sense to start with Ajna's launcher over Qadira's, since you can maintain the juggle better with Qadira's moves.
Once enemy guarding is in, attack order will also be one of the methods for breaking their defense.

Yeah, lots of different properties. You might want to look up some stuff and specify your question.

Another game I backed, CrossCode, got funded using it months before Indivisible was even announced.

it looks like it's mostly from the MC's double axe attack which was in the prototype so it might get changed later because it does look like it shouldn't have camera shaking

any amount of camere shake when the camera is no where near the impact is retarded
in fps games theres some cause for added a little, if it explains something
in flat perspective or RTS, i'll never accept any amount

I think camera shake is acceptable for heavy slow attacks that are supposed to look powerful

Shake is also used to make something feel "dragged", like when you hit something really big that doesn't stagger, this way it feels like you're hitting something instead of a hitbox.

I think the west just misunderstand what makes an animation looks good. That's why despite looking very good and being well made all around, Witcher looks floaty.
