$70 controller

Got mine open-box at best buy for $60, so fuck you.
What's the design fault?
Isn't the Xenoblade controller confirmed to have the improved d-pad?
Hes probably memeing about the dpad, which is fine.
Looks like someone sat on a Dualshock controller
Yeah it is. Don't know what the fuck OP is talking about.
Not for 2D platformers and Puyo Tetris it isn't. Can't fucking wait for my 8bitdo controller to get in
I refuse to pay $70 for a fucking controller. Give me the days of fucking $10 controllers that still work after 30 fucking years.
Is less sensitive but is not fixed.
Both mine work fine.
Is not fixed. Got second replacement from Amazon and all the XC2 Pro Controllers I've tested havehe D-Pad Issue. They are less sensitive than the other versions, tho.
>70$ controller
>more expensive than a fucking game
wat
No, is not.
Its actually. 79.99
Mine works perfectly, not sure what you’re talking about.
Also it was $74, it’s a special edition.
At the very least, it is fairly easy to make it more useable with a Wii U Pro pad's rubber membrane as a replacement. You have to cut out a bit for it to fit though.
Obviously having to go out of your way to get the dpad working (better) is not ideal, and it shouldn't be designed so poorly in the first place, but if you've already got the $70 controller, might as well get the $2 membrane replacement.
>Trying to press left or right will often do diagonal presses
This is not fine, I guess it really is okay when Nintendo does it.
wow.
try this, press the corner of the buttons and see if you have wrong inputs.
gyro and NFC reader are expensive, the Hori pad is great and also half the price
Where to get leather game holder plz
Done.
Everything works as intended.
If you go to the left corner of the left direction and press concentratedly upwards with your fingernail, you can cause the D-Pad to go over the fulcrum and have the Up direction get pressed, but that is the controller properly registering a button press.
It doesn’t trigger an input unless you press it, I was not able to get it to perform a misinput after pressing each direction casually 20+ times each. Half circles and quarter circles all registered as expected. Going from one input to the opposite also works perfectly. If you’re pressing the entirety of the D-Pad down, it rocks just like the SNES, which is the better design. I think maybe some people are just too autistic to understand that if you press on the fulcrum of a proper D-Pad the whole Pad goes down allowing it to function similarly to a joystick. With controllers like the Xbox the dpad has a fixed fulcrum which is far less comfortable.
$19 at sfbags dot com.
>which is fine.
>spent $150 on the bone elite controller
>had to exchange it
>not once
>not twice
>but three fucking times
>that third return netted me the most comfortable, amazing controller i've ever fucking owned
I love the elite controller. I’m still hoping they release a white one someday.
Can I use that thing on PC?
I saw a video where you could easily use it on Android, so I don't see why not.
And we still can't use the fucking Wii U Pro Controller without a special adapter or a program and can't use it at all on Android. Fuck Nintendo.
can you use USB controllers with a PC?
>$70 for a controller
jesus christ, I only paid $30 for my dualshock 4
It's not good for Puyo Puyo Tetris, you will accidentally hard drop pieces occassionally
does your dualshock have hd rumble and an nfc scanner for amiibos?
> $70 controller
>after 21 years still has major design flaws
You need bluetooth.
>not buying one of these babies for Pokken, Puyo Pop, and all the VC games that'll come with paid online that will inevitably play better with a d-pad
I never use rumble on controllers because it's a waste of battery life. Also, why the fuck do I need a nfc scanner in my controller?
speaking of pad problems, what happens if you left d-pad on the wiiu gamepad starts to move awkardly to the right even if i slightly touched the pad?
>implying it isnt flawless
Get fucked, fag.
...
>he's probably popular idea that gets varied by cultural influences ing about the dpad
Where the fuck did you pay $79.99 for it?
or are you from canada or australia? or is it really 79.99 eurobucks?
No i made a mistake. It was 74 like the other user said.
Thanks
I think it's got to be manufacturing varaiances because I don't notice it on mine either after hours of Tiger! Tiger!
I wish. Can confirm it is $99.99 leaf dollars + tip here in soviet cuckistan.
sucks, I paid $60 at Switch release at fucking gamestop
was in line in front of a kid and his mom, bought the very last pro controller just after hearing him tell his mom he wanted one, feelsmischiefman
It's baffling too.
These are NINTENDO controllers, the company that made such a good dpad that they patented it and annoyed every other company on the planet that makes controllers, dooming most third party and even some first party manufacturers to mediocre to shitty dpads, the exact kind of shitty dpads that people were willing to spend more for an official product to avoid.
This said, the joycons in the improved comfort grip feel just fine to me, so I don't even care about getting a pro controller.
